Halo is a popular series of science fiction first-person shooter video games developed by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft. The games are set in the 'Halo universe'-- a science fiction universe created by Bungie Studios exclusively for the series. Halo: Combat Evolved quickly became known as the first 'killer application' for Microsoft's Xbox video-game console when it was released in 2001, achieving both critical acclaim and financial success. Combat Evolved was later published on the PC and finally released for the Mac (for which it was originally developed prior to Microsoft's buying developer Bungie).

Not a toy December 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My kids both have one and both broke very easily. Not durable. I will not buy anymore Halo toys. If you want to buy one and sit it on computer for looks, then your only worry is getting it out of the package without it falling apart. Terrible toys.
sickeningly cool (which isn't even a word...) December 17, 2008 K so, first off, this would be my first series three figure, and i'd just like to say this to McFarlane: "WHY DIDN'T YOU PEOPLE MAKE THEM WITH FINGERS LIKE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!!?!" cause seriously, series one and two just canNOT hold the shotgun or the battle rifle... anyway As with all these halo 3 action figures, the detail is rediculously accurate. he shines... :D yes, very much so, he quite literally IS gold and he sure as heck feels like he must weigh a TON he feels like a gears toy, that kind of weight and his huge feet mean that he can still be posed incredibly well the detail on the gun is equally good although the gun seems a little too big to me, i dunno, maybe it's just a sizing thing for the figure also? the fuel rod cannon has no peg hole so not only can you not store it on his back, you can't store it on ANYONE'S back but the gun looks cool and fits well in all the figures hands i didn't have the trigger problem that other people had rather mine was far more annoying maybe i'm just getting bad luck with brutes, but the stalker i got and this guy, both lost their left hand the second i tried to move it it doesn't bug me that much tho, since A he can't duel weild anyway, and B his arms won't reach together close enough to put both hands on the gun still he looks SICK holding it with one hand and he is durable enough to stand up to some serious playing the detail is superb, the balance is suburb, and the figure only suffers from minor drawbacks all in all a good investment, and a fine addition to anyone seeking more brute corpses ;)
Awesome Halo Action Figure December 15, 2008 If your like me and collect action figures and if you love Halo then this toy is awesome! it's amazing! The seller is amazing and shipped the item super fast! Thanks!
Halo 3 Brute Chieftain November 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Brute Chieftain is a very large, detailed Halo 3 figure. His helmet is removable, and he can be posed with or without the Fuel Rod Gun. However, unlike the Halo 3 Series 3 - Elite Combat Soldier, his shoulder armor is not intentionally removable. It is difficult to pose the Chieftain with the Fuel Rod Gun, with the barrel parallel with his line of vision. Its also hard to get his left hand to touch the gun while the right hand is gripping the handle. Also, when I made the right hand grip the handle, the trigger broke off. I couldn't see a way to get the hand to grip the handle with the trigger there. However, the detail on this toy is amazing. Although he has a lot of weight above his waist, the large feet help balance the Chieftan in many different positions.
Chieftan October 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is very cool looking and comes with its removable helmet and a fuel rod gun. However, it was near impossible to get the gun in his hand, and once you do, the trigger snaps off. But it is still great, just wish is was more flexible. Also, don't be afraid to try and force the helmet on.
