Product Description The war for Gotham City in this summer's blockbuster film, The Dark Knight, comes home with these head knockers based on the film! The Batman Head Knocker adheres to every nuance of Christian Bale's portrayal of Batman, from the painstaking detail on the bat suit to Batman's stern visage beneath the cowl. The Joker Head Knocker is a highly-detailed and movie-accurate piece that captures the essence of the late Heath Ledger's intense performance as the Clown Prince of Crime. Sold separately, these head knockers stand 8" tall.

Fantastic toy with slight imperfections. December 19, 2008 This is a great little bobblehead, really well designed and painted. By hand, the box says! They even did a subtle pinstripe pattern on the pants, and a shiny liner in the overcoat! THEY DID THE LINER!!! Fan-freakin-tastic. The hair is great too, with just the right amount of green tint.
I LOVE the colors on the clothes, particularly the overcoat. Such a delicious purple: you really can't appreciate it properly just from photos. I want I want I want a coat that color.
A few things do bother me. The figure sits on a base with a picture of a playing card on it, which seems to be a sticker or paper that's been glued down: on my copy this wasn't applied evenly and it's hanging off the base slightly in one corner. More annoyingly, the neck is too long for my taste and if you're one to put it on a shelf or anywhere else above eye level Joker might look like Giraffe. Also from this angle, he looks like he's rolling his eyes instead of glaring menacingly. I submitted a photo showing these issues, though the uneven card can't be seen well. Not at all really. It's not a HUGE problem; I'm just really OCD about some things.
The head sculpt is lovely and suitably Ledger-like. The scars are not 100% movie-accurate, but for a bobblehead I find this completely acceptable.
Lastly, the price madness has died down for now and you can get it very reasonably. For the cost, it's a very worthwhile diversion. I love it.
(I gave it 4 stars for durability because, c'mon people, you're not supposed to be playing fetch with the dang thing. It sits in one place and nods its head. For its intended use, it's durable.)
Great quality and detail! December 9, 2008 I picked this up for $15 at Blockbuster on a whim, and wasn't expecting much at all. However, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my purchase. It is extremely detailed and has a good weight to it; when you hold it, you can tell its a quality piece, not like the cheap plastic the Star Wars bobbleheads were made of.
Joker Bobblehead October 23, 2008 Perfect, exactly what I wanted. Great graphics on the face/head. Well-made, durable. A constant reminder about what can happen if you are too serious.
Why so serious? October 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've read other reviews that lamented about the price of the Heath Ledger Joker Head Knocker and can understand why the other reviewers were upset at the price gouging of supply and demand. Thankfully, supply has returned and the price is ball park for most bobbleheads. That said, about the item itself...
I was very excited to have found it. Online it looked great. When I received it, my initial reaction was that I thought that it would have been bigger, at least in regards to other headknockers I own, but this was only an initial response based upon comparison. Right now it sits by my computer, and I apreciate it between navigating my day to day.
Honestly, Neca outdid themselves on this piece. Neca is the high bar for images of this kind, period. But here, they produced a whimsical statue with a scary resemblence to the late Mr. Ledger. The detail is exceptional, almost elegant. The paint applied is subtle, not slapped on. This is something well done and if you enjoy this type of imagery, and if the character speaks to you,I strongly urge you to include it in your collection.
It's well worth it. And as far as head knockers, bobbleheads, or whatever you want to call them ... this rendition of the "Clown Prince of Crime", is a crown jewel.
End of serious discussion....the fun is in having.
The Joker is staring at me with that evil smirk as I write this review August 27, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got this for much cheaper than listed here, but it still cost me about double the price of the average Batman bobble head, and we all know why. It doesn't look quite as good as the picture on here (they never do), but it does look very nice and is a great collectable for any fan of The Joker, Heath Ledger, or The Dark Knight movie. I put mine by my computer and he is shaking his head at me right now. I think he wants me to stop talking about him.
