Slime without the mess! January 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought several jars after seeing this product on TV, and gave each boy in my family a jar for Christmas. Out of six boys ranging from 10 to 4, only my four year old didn't like it. He didn't like the way it felt. (We all think it feels like cold jello!) The rest thought it was great fun to dig thru black sludge for dinosaurs, and I loved it, because there was no mess whatsoever. It didn't take long for them to find the dinosaurs, but they grew bored with the dinosaurs and tossed them aside. The black tar is still a hit.

I bought this item for my great-nephew, on the advice of a friend. I have only one adult child, and no grandchildren, so I was rather flying "blind" in choosing it. As far as I know, he (my nephew) likes it.
The Best January 9, 2007 Get you video or still cameras out and a quick finger. I gave one to each of my grandchildren (age 3,7,9) for Christmas. At first they didn't know what to think then lots of curiosity setting in; they really studied the little black bottle. Then at the the speed of light the little hands started to peal of the seal rapper and off with the cap. Shake, shake, shake slowly out oozed the black thick jell. With cameras rolling I could barley stop shaking from laughter, the expression all different for each child was priceless! And as an extra bonus the adults were spell bound to.
