This huge playset features a motorized time column with pulsating lights, illuminated console with 6 control buttons, removable floor panels & flip-up console panel, and 12 sound & light effects. Minor assembly is required. When fully assembled the Tardis Playset measures over 2 feet (60cm) across! Demonstration batteries are included, for full usage 4 AA batteries are required. TARDIS is an acronym referencing the words: Time And Relative Dimension In Space. The TARDIS is a manifestation of Time Lord technology, based in transdimensional engineering and routinely capable of feats such as time travel. Early on, the Type 40 TARDIS suffered a chameleon circuit glitch and was fused with the exterior form of a police box. In the interior of the TARDIS, meanwhile, is a vast mechanized expanse equipped with an indeterminate number of chambers. Despite the fact that the TARDIS has multiple Console Rooms, the hexagonal disposition of the instrument-bearing console pedestal seems to be a constant. The TARDIS is equipped with defensive measures and seemingly possesses a degree of sentience.

Tardis set was a little hard to put together, but a lot of fun to play with. Lights and sound are very realistic.

This toy is really cool. It's got lots of little details that Dr. Who fans will appreciate. I was surprised by it's size, too. It's quite big and took about 30 minutes to put together, but it was worth it. And the sound effects are great.

My son loves Dr Who and we had the Doctor, The Dalek, the cyberman and the sonic screwdriver but no Tardis. We did a search on amazon and they had this great version of the Tardis, the toy is well made and the sound effects are brilliant and it looks really good.
I would definately recommend this toy
