The Classic Corn Popper July 9, 2008 I agree with what has been said. This is a classic toy. I had one as a child. Many people have had one when they were kids. And, I think it's one of those toys that every child should have.
There isn't much to this toy. You push it and the balls pop within the plastic bubble--you know the story. This isn't a toy that your child will usually play with for extend periods of time, but once and a while, for a little while (5-10 minutes a "pop", pun intended :), your child will play with it and have fun. Some days he/she'll play with it more, some days less. But, he/she will have fun.
The counting to ten is also a nice feature to this toy.
A Wonderful toy April 15, 2008 I brought this as a gift for my nephew and he loves it. When we went home my nephew, my boys 2 and 3 played with it. it is a very durable and great toys our boys are ages 1,2, and 3 so these ages are great. We had the old popper toy the addition of the electronics is great. This is a great toy I give it a 10 in toughness and enjoyment
Amazingly simple yet fun March 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this for my son when he was a year old. He's now 21 months and still loves it. It's such a simple toy, just push it around and it pops and counts, yet he gets a lot of entertainment out of it. He doesn't play with it often, but when he does pull it out, he plays with it for a long time.

Great classic! November 6, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I give this 4 stars, because I like it (maybe more than my toddler). When I was in kindergarten or 1st grade, my little brother, who was 1 or 2 at the time, had the original -- the one that just popped, and he loved it. He would push it around until the popping drove my father "crazy." This one does even more. It pops, counts from 1 to 10, plays music, and has flashing lights. I think it's an awesome toy, especially for the price. My daughter doesn't play with it every day, but when she grabs it, she'll push it around for maybe 10 minutes or more (we haven't found a single toy that will occupy her attention for longer than that). Sometimes, she'll push it around several times a day. It's great for that stage when your toddler likes to push or drag things around with them. The popping was inconsistent when we first received it, but we took it apart, got the gears aligned correctly (through trial & error), added more Vaseline to the gears for lubrication, and now it pops, counts, plays music, and the lights flash consistently every time. If you take this toy apart, be careful not to pull out the speaker wires -- we did that, but it was no problem. My husband soldered the wires back together.
