Product Description
Generation upon generation have enjoyed Flinch since it was first introduced in 1905. Now it's back, and better than ever, bringing with it fond memories of great fun. All you have to do to win is get rid of the 10 cards in your stockpile. You'll do this by playing them in numerical sequence--whenever possible--onto the play piles in the center of the table. Sounds simple, doesn't it' Or is it' Flinch set includes rules for 5 great Flinch variations, including Flinch 2000--a "zestier" way to play with new "wild" cards, a solitaire game and a special version just for kids. Introduce this beloved card game classic to your family today! Includes 3 decks (144 cards in all) and illustrated rules and history of Flinch. For 1-8 players.

Editorial Review
Almost a century old, Flinch is the seemingly simple but surprisingly difficult card game in which players attempt to discard from their stockpiles of 10 cards by playing them in numerical sequence (when possible). Sure, it sounds like a round of this could be over in minutes, but it never turns out that way. The original, handsome design of the cards is still intact, but the makers of the game have come up with some additional contests for modern folk, including Flinch 2000, with wild cards. There's also a solitaire version and one just for kids. --Tom Keogh

5 out of 5 stars 1905???   July 22, 2008

This is a wonderful old card game! But if every reference I come across states that it was first introduced in 1905, why are there countless references to playing Flinch in my great-great-great-aunt's 1903 diary???

1 out of 5 stars Not an easy game   January 8, 2008

I was hoping that this would be a card game that the kids could figure out on their own. I am sure that it will be fun once we figure out the game and all of its piles, etc. It wasn't really a hit on Christmas because no one could figure it out.

5 out of 5 stars So much fun   June 25, 2007

I played this game when I was a child with my great aunt and it always brought much heppiness. Over the years it was lost in a move and I could not find it anywhere. Finally I found it on your website and have since purchased it for my brother and one of my sisters who have introduced it to a new generation in the family. My 81 year old mother said she used to play this when she was a young child so this has brought decades of fun to our family and many wonderful memories of happy times spent together.

I learned to play this game when I was about 5 years old, and it is even more fun now than ever.
Very easy to learn, very fast paced if you want it to be, and great fun for everybody.
If you are looking for somthing new and fun for the family or friends, try this.

5 out of 5 stars Flinch Brings Back Memories   January 9, 2007

Flinch is still a great family game even though there is no technology involved. Playing it with my grandchildren is as much fun as it was with my children 30 years ago. It is educational (learning numbers sequences forward and backward) for a fairly broad range of ages and it is simple but challenging.
