the lightsaber July 11, 2006 its great because you can study it and figure out how it works, whose lightsaber it is from the movies (in this case its a Qui-Gon Jinn blue) and fight with it because its durable, all sorts of stuff!! i LOVE it!!
Awesome Dude! February 21, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this same exact lightsaber WAY before the release of Revenge of the Sith. The only reason that I bought this was because I only had 2 lightsabers at the time. I had a Qui-Gon Jinn electronic lightsaber and a cheap Anakin Skywalker lightsaber. The Anakin lightsaber was sooo cheap that if you hit very gently it will break in half. Whenever my cousins came over and we wanted to play Star Wars we had to fight to play with the electronic lightsaber. If I didn't win the the fight I wouldn't play. So I'm at Walmart one night and happen to go the Star Wars section. I wanted to buy a Luke Skywalker electronic lightsaber, but I didn't have the money. Then I notice these other lightsabers. They were only 7 dollars! I thought that they were going more cheap lightsabers. I bought a blue one. And if it was cheap I would return it. So I come home and open the lightsaber. Then I hit it hard against the wall to test its durability. I didn't snap in half! And it didn't get a scratch like the electronic ones. So I start to play with it until late that night. The next day my cousin came over with his Anakin Skywalker electronic lightsaber (It wasn't the same as my cheap one). I told that I bought a new lightsaber and we started to fight. His got plenty of scratches but mine didn't. In fact, next week he came back with a red basic lightsaber and we fought even harder since now we both had basic lightsabers! So, I suggest that you buy on of these lightsabers. They are durable and are worth the price. They don't snap in half or get any scrathes! They are better then the electronic lightsabers! Now I own 3 Star Wars lightsabers. They are this one, Anakin Skywalker's color change blade electronic lightsaber, and a build your lightsaber kit. I sold the cheap lightsaber to someone who actually wanted it and Qui-Gon's lightsaber decided to snap in half also. So if you want to buy a lightsaber, get one of these.
THE BEST ONE December 30, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love light sabers,I got 13 years all if you think you are big for one of them let me tell you that you will be a kid onlly once so get one an play,I bought one of the basic light sabers and they are so cool, this saber is the best, you can fight and the saber will not get damage, i like it very much. I got a green and black and my brother a blue and black so we can fight. The light saber full extended is like 3/4 of a meter but it do his job. The electronic light sabers are to fancy and they get broke in a moment. THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

I bought five of these for my own children and my nephews. They have had hours of fun "fighting evil." I would suggest keeping this toy strictly as an outdoor toy, as it is quite long when fully extended. Overall, my kids and nephews enjoy these and they have held up very well under some pretty rough play.

This is a good buy to the money. My son loves the way it flicks out and it is simple to operate.
