Flashing Lights and Fun Music
The Sing-Along Stage features five fun songs for you and your baby to sing along with. It's easy and fun for your baby to play with: Just shake the "magical" microphone to start the music! While the music plays, your child will delight in the four dancing spotlights, the pop-up audience of friendly smiling fans, and the big picture mirror to watch him or herself groove. Four musical instruments sit along the bottom of the stage: Baby just presses the horn, the xylophone, the drum, or the guitar to hear them play. You and your child will have great fun singing and dancing together with all of the songs!

Different Stages to Grow with Baby
The Sing-Along Stage includes two levels of advancement for babies and toddlers. Each mode offers just enough difficulty for your little one to be challenged and have fun at the same time. For babies from 6 months of age, the stage is just the right height to sit and play. He or she can discover how to shake the microphone to make a song play! Your baby can also learn how to press each musical instrument to hear it play a solo, learning to differentiate between the different sounds. Musical lyrics are provided for you to sing along with the songs, providing quality interactive time with your baby. As your child gets older, he or she can stand, dance, and groove with the magical microphone while the music plays. In this more advanced secondary mode, the toy allows your child to get creative with the music. Start the song by pressing the button. Shake the microphone to add voice. Press each instrument to add their sounds to the song. This toy requires three AA batteries, which are included in the package. Adult assembly is necessary and requires a Phillips screwdriver (not included).

4 out of 5 stars Fun for both my kids   September 23, 2008
My infant and 2 year old both love this toy. The only complaint is that my baby, who was 7 months old when we got this, wasn't tall enough to see herself in the mirror. She could sit up on her own but she is on the small side so she couldn't quite see the buttons or herself very well. To fix this, I put her in her Bumbo chair and put her in front of it. Other than that, I totally suggest it, especially for parents looking for a toy for more than one age group. My baby slams on the buttons and looks at herself and my toddler sings into the microphone and pushes the buttons in order to hear the music.

5 out of 5 stars My baby loves this!   August 29, 2008
I bought this for my son when he was 6 1/2 months old. He loved it from day one. He loves to look in the mirror and push all the buttons and pulls. The music gets stuck in my head, but at least there is more than 1 song to listen to, like other toys. I bought this based on the reviews from other buyers and I have not been disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars Fun and entertaining   August 27, 2008
My daughter enjoys playing with this toy. She laughs every time she sees herself in the mirror and she loves banging on the buttons, which are super-big. The buttons cause little people to pop up, and she loves trying to catch them before they fall. Also, the wide spread of the toy's legs make it sturdy enough that she can pull herself up without making me afraid that it will fall over on her. The music is a bit cheesy, and the microphone doesn't seem to have a purpose (it's more like a rattle), but overall it's an enjoyable toy.

4 out of 5 stars My Child Loves It!   August 21, 2008

When I first saw this toy, i thought it was a glorified music box. My husband, on the otherhand, insisted on paying $50 for it. Turns out this toy has two settings-one will play music no matter which buttons are pushed, the other will play sounds based on the different "instrument" buttons. My 10-month old loves banging on it, and loves to watch me in the mirror while doing so. If she moves onto another toy, this toy will make sounds to "remind" her to come back. I am a believer of teaching our child to concentrate on one toy before moving onto another, so I am glad we have this toy that can grasp her attention. It also comes with lyrics of the songs, in cardboard so she can't tear up, so I can see her growing into it. I still think it is overpriced for what it can do, but it is a great toy nevertheless.

On a side note, the packaging is weird and very difficult to unpack. Do not open it while the child is around, as it can become very dangerous. The toy came in the "on" position, so while I was fighting the packaging, it made so much music that my baby kept coming over to investigate. My mom had to restrain her while I unpack it. I wish FP will change the packaging to make it easier to open.

5 out of 5 stars Long term value   August 20, 2008
I received this for my (at the time) 6 month old daughter from a family member as a gift. Six months later, she is still playing with it! Not every day, but she loves to turn those tunes on and "wiggle" to the beat. From about 6 months to 9 months, I would say it was one of her favorite toys. I had fun sitting with her in my lap and "dancing" with the music, clapping, etc. It was also a great "pull up toy" for her to stand and hold onto.
