Product Description In this wacky, whimsical game, players must use the Lily Pad Launchers to spring their frogs toward the rotating tree to see who stays and who falls. But watch out for the big POP -- and see how many frogs drop! Whoever has the most frogs left in the tree wins that round. This hilarious game is a hoppin' and poppin' good time for kids. Includes 24 frogs, 4 launchers, base, tree trunk with tree top and 4 tree limbs and instruction sheet. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, not included.
Amazon.com Product Description Do you have what it takes to survive the frog flippin' frenzy? In the Flippin' Frogs Game it's a flight for survival to launch and land as many of your frogs into the spinning tree as possible. But they better cling tight because there are crocodiles and piranhas circling the waters below, and when time runs out, the tree branches pop up.

Durability: (what this means)
The Good: Fun, fast-paced, flippin' frogs action
The Bad: May require parental assembly
In a Nutshell: Interactive game for the whole family | At a Glance Ages: 5 and older Requires: 3 AA batteries (not included) | | | Recommended for children ages 5 and up, this fun game for the whole family is designed for up to four players. Simple Rules, Fun Plastic Shapes The object of the game is simple: Be the player with the most frogs in the tree at the end of a round. Win three rounds, and you win the game. However, it's not as easy as it looks. The flexible, rubbery plastic frogs are shaped to hang easily from the tree branches, but when the branches pop up, these little amphibian friends tend to go flying. The brown tree trunk and blue game base are made with a sturdy, durable plastic. The green branches are made lighter for extra spring when the frogs land -- and when time is up. The lily pad-shaped catapults work really well -- so well, in fact, they'll fly too if you don't hold them down with a finger. Sound Effects Complete The Mood As we tested the Flippin' Frogs Game, the sounds of chirping frogs and babbling water happily transported us back to a boggy marsh. The game takes a little bit of assembly, and while it's easy to tell what goes where, it's tough to attach the tree trunk into the game base. An adult might have to help snap the two pieces together. If everything's set up right, the tree will start turning when the game is "on." Once set up, the game is a blast to play -- even alone, since practice makes perfect. When the time is almost up, a bell rings, alerting you to hurry up and get one last shot in. A piece of advice: Aim for tree top; it's the safest place. With electronic sounds and motion, this game requires three AA batteries (not included). What's in the Box Game includes 24 frogs, 4 launchers, 1 base, 1 tree trunk, 4 branches, 1 tree top, and 1 instructional sheet.

Tons of Fun!!! November 21, 2008 We've been playing this game for months now and it is totally fun for my 5 & 8 year old I love it too. We crack up playing this game and love it.
Flippin Frogs Followup November 17, 2008 I was looking for an activity for our Fun Fair to add. The Flippin' Frogs' game seemed to be an activity that ages 4 through 6th grade and older could play. The game was interesting and fun as long as players could hold down the frog launcher and launch the frog at the same time. To solve this problem, we used duct tape to hold down each of the four launchers. This seemed to work well. Also, I would recommend that each frog be loaded with the head down when mounting it on the launcher. This seemed to work better than the reverse. Overall I would say that this activity will be a keeper for our Fun Fair.
So much fun I am buying another one! November 6, 2008 My grandsons in Denver introduced me to this game and every time I go visit we have to play it! For all of you who have played a board game with younger children and were bored to tears before they finally took their turn or someone won, this is the game for you. It is very fast paced and each game leaves you wanting to play another one!
My grandsons are 8, 6, and 4. We find it works best if I have the 4 year old on my lap and he does the flipping while I load the frogs and aim. The older boys are able to play with no help at all.
Their tree also shows signs of cracking at the top where they originally were pushing down on it but now they grab the trunk of the tree and push down.
I have so much fun playing this game with my grandsons that I am purchasing one for my grandaughters for Christmas. I highly recommend this game if you are ready for a quick fast paced game that gets over quickly so you can play as long as you want, or as little as you want.
Entire family still like this one! October 15, 2008 We have had this game for almost a year and still play at least once a week. My son received this for his 4th b-day and everyone loves to play it, including my husband, myself, and my parents! It's not a very educational game, although it does work on fine motor skills. I noticed some reviews said it was frustrating, my son felt frustrated the first few times he played because you need to learn to judge how far to flip the frogs, but after a few times he was having a blast. We like it because it's a nice, simple game without all the bells and whistles.
A lot of fun and a lot of laughs but stopped working after 2 days September 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game (although hard) was incredibly fun and hilarious. My 3 year old though most of hers missed the tree was crying laughing at trying along with brother and sister, parents and grandparents as we miss judged our aim and on a few tries were wearing someone elses frogs. So, why the bad review you ask? Two days later the tree stopped working, wouldn't spin, no sound and wouldn't pop. And yes, there were new batteries tried. Though I love the idea of this game, the durability stinks. Hope this helps you.
