Product Description Repulsor Power Iron Man is a 12â motion-activated figure with 3 âAAAâ batteries included. Repulsor Power Iron Man is equipped with a repulsor launcher and two yellow missiles; manipulation of Iron Manâs boots activate âblast-offâ and âlandingâ sounds; the button on Iron Manâs chest activates glowing repulsors and triggers the phrase, âI am Iron Man!â Tony Stark initially developed the armor in captivity, developing a repulsor device to counteract shrapnel lodged near to his heart; Stark utilized the repulsor technology to build the Mark I armor, with which he fought his way free of captivity. Ultimately, Stark upgraded his armor design to the Mark III version, which provides vastly augmented strength, near-invulnerability, and an arsenal of advanced weaponry including missiles and repulsor blasts.

Iron man action figure July 2, 2008 Action figure takes a beating from my 4 yeard old. There are barely any scratches and all the features work great. Excellent item.
Finally! June 24, 2008 It seems like I've been waiting just about forever for someone to release a 12" scale Iron Man figure. My wait came to an end with the arrival of the Repulsor Power Iron Man figure from Hasbro's Iron Man movie toy line.
This isn't a perfect figure, but it's still pretty impressive. It's very close in appearance - if not scale - to the movie Iron Man, and the attention to detail is quite good. The head seems way small, especially if there's supposed to be a person in there. I would love to have seen a version of this figure with a removable helmet.
On the plus side, the electronic features are extremely cool. Beyond a few stock phrases ("I am Iron Man", "Repulsor Blast", "Switching to Auxiliary Power"), the figure also has a light up torso and left hand repulsor, and features motion activated sound effects for flight and landing (there's a trigger on the right boot) as well as repulsor sounds when the left arm is moved.
On the minus side, the figure is not as articulated as I had hoped. The head moves, as do the arms (but only forward), elbows, legs, and knees. The wrists do not move, which is understandable at least on the right hand with its missile launcher. The ankles do not move either, which is a bit disappointing. Of course, my figure will spend 99.9% of its time displayed on a bookshelf, so articulation is a relatively minor concern for me.
Small gripes aside, this is about as good an Iron Man figure as I had hoped for, and is a welcome addition to my 12" figure collection. It also withstood my 2-year-old's "intensive product testing", so I'll probably end up buying another for his upcoming birthday.
Great Replica, Boys Loved It June 23, 2008 This is a great toy, very nice replica. Paint chipped fairly early though. Overall, it was a great toy recommend it for kids who liked the movie.
Nice! May 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First of all a great value for this Iron Man. I just loved the sounds every time you move it. I just wish it could have a little more points of articulation. You can really have fun playing with this Iron Man. Nice!
My 4 year old loves it May 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We've only had this toy for two days now so I can't make any comments as to it's durability, but I have to agree with what the other reviewer said - for the price realistic looking (plastic not "iron" or metal of course so some might consider it a bit "cheap" looking) with a limited number of nonetheless (from a child's point of view at least) very cool sound effects - iron man has a little trigger thing on his foot, when you lift him up he makes machine-like swooshing through the air sounds - theroetically when you put him down (thereby pressing the trigger on his foot again) he stops making the noise though I found you have to press him down on the ground a bit firmly for that to happen - when you move his arm a little light in the palm of his hand lights up and it makes a laser blasting sound - he says "I am Iron Man" and "Repulsor Beam" (name for his laser). Fires plastic projectiles too so be careful, make sure your munchkins don't hit another kid in the eye (or just take away the projectiles - BEFORE giving your munchkin the toy to avoid crying and wailing). Runs on 3 double AA batteries (included). Decent amount of articulation on it. Very faithful to the original concept of iron man which I'm familiar with as a comic book fan. Worth the twenty dollars IF your child is asking for an iron man toy, otherwise you'll find it overpriced if you buy it as a "surprise" gift for a munchkin who may or may not be interested in it. To make the toy "come to life" for your munchkin check out the website mentioned in the instruction booklet, it has online iron-man games your little one can play (hopefully an Iron Man cartoon will appear on TV soon as a tie-in) .
