Kung Fu Grip Inferno features âKung Fu Gripâ Hands---and an array of equipment including heat-blocker gear, a breather backpack, and super-cooled axe. Inferno is clad in red and black tactical armor, his face partially obscured by a respirator port and semi-translucent green visor. The respirator features a chest-mounted tank, and the axe is hose-connected to the backpack. Inferno is cited as having confronted fires such as wildfires and chemical fires. Prior to joining the Joe team, Inferno headed a Hawaii-based international firefighting team that enabled him to confront fires all over the world. His particular expertise allows Inferno to neutralize virtually any Cobra-instigated fire. Inferno's super-cooled axe extinguishes a flame upon contact.
