GX-40 Raideen is a heavily articulated plastic/die-cast robot equipped with variant modes, accessories and presumably the usual display base and mounting bracket. The birdlike Raideen is angular and blade-adorned. Raideen, the mystic defender of the continent of Mu, was awakened in response to the return of the Demon Empire. The kid, Akira, a descendant of the race of Mu, was warned of the Demonās Empireās awakening, causing him to locate Raideenās pyramid and ask the giant robot for his assistance. It is now Raideenās job to break the Demon Empire at the kneecaps and defend the Earth against evil conquest. Raideen enjoys nothing better than quashing invasions and squishing would-be invaders like chocolate-colored cherries.

Ok where to start oh yes here is the only negative thing I have to say it should have been manufactured to a larger scale if it had been made to the same size as Combattler V in the SOC line it would have achieved true perfection. This Chogokin is about the size of the Great Mazinger in this line of figures.
The articulation and detail is awesome beyond belief right down to screamer Hawk Missiles that fire from his chest. Yep I first learned about Raydeen in Marvel Comics back in the 70's and Raydeen was the spelling used. I have other versions of this Character but this one is the best the only one that is better is the deluxe version I have it too. Highly recommended do not let this one slip by you.
