These are NOT like Bristle Blocks! January 7, 2009 How they expected a child to build anything with these is beyond me! They do NOT stay together and are very cheaply made. The plastic is thin and flimsy!
The concept is great but you need to invest in Bristle Blocks. They are much more fun, durable and easier to build with.
Cute toy, but kind of tricky January 1, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was excited to buy the blocks for my 3 yr old and 18 mo old. They reminded me of the old bristle blocks I used to play with when I was little. The blocks are really cute. My children both wanted to play with them right away. I feel like they are pretty difficult to use though. They don't go together very easily (especially for the little ones), and don't stay together very well either. It ends up frustrating them. We're a pretty creative bunch, and have an assortment of all kinds of legos and blocks and building toys. So I was excited to add these to the collection. However, I won't be buying any of the other Clipo sets.
We all like these blocks... December 29, 2008 At first I was really skeptical about getting these block since reviews for Playskool Clipo Buckets are not that great. But got it anyways since it was on sale. I am glad I did. Even though it says 18+ we gave it for Christmas to our daughter who is not even 18 months. I agree they are neat and well made but difficult. Well, she is able to put one piece on the top of another without any problems and enjoys them more than Mega Blocks. We spend a lot of time playing with these blocks and I am looking forward to get a clipo table as well. Overall they are good but more appropriate for older toddlers. In my opinion Playskool Clipo Basic Blocks Set will be easier for younger toddlers.
Toddler blocks December 16, 2008 This a great learning toy and the quality is excellent. However, it was a little difficult for my 2 year old grandson to put the blocks together and to pull them apart secondary to fine motor skills in 2 year olds. He will really enjoy them in several months when it will be easier for him to manipulate the blocks.
2 year old loves these blocks! December 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter was given these blocks for her birthday and loves them. She and daddy love to make fun shapes with them. Legos are tough for little fingers and the Clipo blocks were simple and fun to use. I was shocked to read all the reviews that had issues with these blocks as we have had no trouble using them!
