Favorite Christmas gift January 6, 2009 This set was on the top of my 13 yr olds Christmas list. I am so glad I found it here because it was sold out in all the stores here. We had no idea this was a "hot toy" this year. My son went to building and spent a couple hours working on it. He was thrilled with the finished product and enjoyed showing us all the details put into the set.
my son's toy's review September 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great fun! There is always things to do whith the set. Almost everthing is active like the garages move up and down and door slides side to side etc I, Stefan, really love this toy!
Excellent choice! January 13, 2008 This was our 4 1/2 year old son's Santa present this year, and he has been playing with it ever since he put it together. The instructions are quite clear for the vehicles and the buildings. My son was able to follow the directions and put everything together, with some help from my husband and me. Actually, I was really amazed at how motivated he was to put it together himself. It took a few days to get the whole station and both vehicles put together, but he kept at it. Now he is enjoying getting a chance to play with the set and it has provided many hours of imaginative play time. I really feel that this set is well worth the money.
Still as good as ever. January 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had Legos when I was young, so now that my son is 6, it's his turn. I gave all mine away to another youngster when I was in high school (who then gave them to his younger brother--they last forever), so I have to buy new ones. These are every bit as good as the ones I had over 20 years ago. My son already wants more to add to his set. I guess he'll have to wait for his birthday to see what he gets. I only wish Lego would put more drawings of other ways to build the sets. I always liked doing the instruction set first, then trying to copy the pictures. Great for the imagination.
Junior engineer in the making January 12, 2008 My grandson is very inquisitive and is fascinated by the way things work. When I saw this toy, I knew it would be something that would present a challenge to him, and it did. Although he is only seven, he has spent many hours working on this project and doing very well at it.
