The "blocks magically" attract to and push from each other due to the safe magnets inside. The brightly colored pieces make it visually appealing and the magnets inside make a rattle sound for extra fun. G-baby follows you everywhere even in the bath as the pieces float, so it's a bath toy also. Non-toxic and dishwasher safe. 20 pieces.

This was bought to keep at my house. When the family gathers at Nana's house (at least twice a month), EVERYONE has played with it. From the one-year-olds through the 2, 4, and 5-year-olds as well as the teenage cousins and adult aunts and uncles, all are fascinated with the properties of magnets and creating new kinds of creatures (usually dubbed 'robots'). If the little ones are staying over, these double as bath toys. I know that this toy is safe since the pieces are large, smooth-edged, and the magnets are safely encased inside the sturdy pieces. I am buying another set because with so many wanting to play with them, I need more pieces!!

This item is great not only for babies but for toddlers and kids as well so much can be done with them. Loads of fun.

Our daughter has been playing with this product for a few months and loves it. Pulling pieces apart and then putting them together (sometimes in ways that defy gravity) will hold her attention better than any other toy we have. She also likes the animal shapes. The product is durable and encourages creativity. Made in Switzerland is hard to beat. Only issue is I think the company overstates the "rattle" quality, because they don't really make much noise.
