Fantastic blocks December 28, 2008 Santa brought these blocks to my 5 year old son and he just loves them. They are the standard unit size which is great for making large towers, and what 5 year old doesn't enjoy that? There are plenty of blocks in the set to keep both of my sons happy and playing together. I think these blocks will be in our family for years.
Flawless building blocks July 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
No cheap paint to deteriorate. Nice, dense wood. Smooth finish. Rounded edges and corners. Reasonably precise milling. Good variety of shapes. Pretty much everything building blocks should be.
The only possible problem I can see is you might wind up wanting to get a second set. The single set is plenty for our two children to have fun with, but I suppose if you want to get extreme with your creations, you might want more blocks.
If you're satisfied with buildings that aren't taller than you, one set should be enough. :)
Just what we were looking for January 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These blocks were the perfect present for our 18 mo. He loves to stack them and knock them down, and they really get the whole family down on the floor to play together. I was going between buying the foam blocks so he wouldn't get hurt and these wooden blockg. I am SO glad I chose these. He loves to play with them, and even though they are wood, he hasn't gotten hurt. Plus they will last longer than foam ones, since he is still teething! No chunks can get bitten off of them. We are looking forward to many, many years of fun with these blocks. His hand eye coordination is already getting better, and its been less than a month! We LOVE them. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about buying them - BUY THEM!!
76 Piece block set December 30, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
The blocks are very well made all with carefully rounded edges. The wood is very smooth and splinter free. The block set is heavy as a whole unit but easy for a child to stack individually. Amazingly it is easily repacked in its original box for storage. If buying as a gift have it sent directly to the recipient as it is costly to re-ship.
