Product Description They will be ready to catch a thief with this set of three linked high-tech traps by Wild Planet, called the spy Gear Tri-Link Alarm System. One trap can be set on top of your valuables; if it's moved, it sounds the alarm and flashes to startle thieves. Another trap is a motion detector that will fire two darts if triggered. The third trap is a laser tripwire that will set off a loud siren to catch the thief in their tracks. Includes three traps, six darts and two alarms. Requires 7 "AAA" batteries, not included. Measures 2" x 11.5" x 5.5".

poorly made, dart shooter stopped working January 1, 2009 The dart shooter on this piece of crap stopped working five minutes after the kid started playing with it. he had five minutes of real joy and then suddenly couldn't get the darts to lock into the shooter at all. then tears for god knows how long. I always want to throttle the makers of cheap crap like this.
Great toy for your spy to be! October 20, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wish this thing would break but it is built too well. I have been ambushed so many times I have become shell shocked; when I hear the alarm go off I know a couple of missiles are headed my way. My son loves the toy and keeps thinking of new ways to use it. I am planning to order more sets to give to my nephews as Christmas gifts.

Nice toy, but the interestingness wears off quick. July 12, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
We bought this for my son (age 10 at the time) for Christmas because he loves the concept of spy gadgets. I asked him how educational they were and he gave them a 4, he said "you have to think carefully where people will be walking and aim them just right". We had these things peeping and shooting little harmless plastic missiles at us for a week or so, but after a month the components were abandoned in the toy box. Unless you have a very organized child with a neat room who has an ongoing need to be alerted when sneaky siblings are about, the interest level is going to fall off real quick.
The price has come down, they're now around $9 or $10, I'd recommend them at that price, they do provide at least ten bucks worth of fun. I paid more, and probably could have spent the money better.
Fun toy January 7, 2008 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a system designed to "protect" something (an object or a room) through a series of lights, sounds and then darts. It can be configured in different ways. My 6 y.o. has fun with it, but an older child (8-12) would probably be better at correctly setting it up to really work. The darts do shoot kind of hard so be aware of that.
