Lots of Learning Value November 9, 2008 This toy is great. We've used it since birth. The songs are pleasant, not too annoying, but catchy at the same time. The tactile stimulation from the different things on the bottom is great (squeaking, crinkle, jingle, etc.) We really enjoy this toy, and the ability to teach numbers and colors will make it usable for a long time. I wish the buttons were easier to press, though, as my 10 month old is just now figuring out how to turn this on.
Happy Face Friend November 5, 2008 This adorable toy has been with my 21 month old son since he was around 3 months old and holds a special place in our hearts. With its happy and smiling face and cheery songs, it was the first toy my son saw in the mornings as an infant. His answering smile whenever I turned it on really touched me. As he became older, he understood the number and color sequences and would press the buttons again and again just to hear them play for him. He is now past the age where this holds his interest, but I couldn't part with it so I just put this toy away in his memory chest. Maybe someday it will go to his son or daughter! :-)
Great toy! May 20, 2008 My 4-month old son loves this toy -- he seems to be captivated by the colors as well as the melodies (although I do wish toy makers would start using better quality sound). We take it with us on trips and is a great way to keep him entertained. So far, it has help up well too, with all the banging/dropping that it has been subjected to. It seems like something that would be educational as well, but I'll have to review that attribute later, when my son is older.
Impressive March 5, 2008 We have used this from day one with my son. He is now 11 months old and still plays with it. We attach it to the carseat/stroller/crib/changing table. I love the versatility of this toy. The long play music is awesome, and when my son was younger some days that was the only way I could get minor housework accomplished. The colors and numbers songs are short and really aren't too bad. The volume isn't too loud either. Only problem is that it is difficult to clean. All in all this is a fantastic toy!
Lots Of Music February 23, 2008 This Caterpillar has tons of fun and educational songs. Our son loves to explore it although pushing the right area to hear the songs was rough we still feel this toy is great.
