 Love the Roar in Animal World November 25, 2007
My 2 year old twins love "Animal World" and ask for it by name. They have had this book/cartridge for just about a year and absolutely love finding and interacting with the animals in this book. Their favorite page is the Lion page - they love to growl like a lion. It is highly durable. My boy twin loves to tear up every book he can find and I can say he has not been able to rip, tear, or chew this book apart. They even love to carry the book around for "independent" reading.

This "Animal World" software keeps my 18 month old toddler entertained even if she forgets to push "Go". So what if the elephant is making a meowing sound if she forgets to push "Go". It keeps her laughing.

Neighborhood animals and even basic zoo animals should be prevalent in this book to help small children learn and associate with the real world they will see. But this book has rare birds, "outback" animals and others...would have been better with a better mix of animals that included regular birds, dogs, cats, elephants etc...again things a child will see in the neighborhood or at the zoo.

This is by far my 2 year olds favorite Little Touch book. He loves animals, so I knew this would be a hit. We purchased it when he was about 15 months and he still picks it out and brings it to me to read.
Animals and "real" pictures are attention grabber January 4, 2006

My son (2 yrs. old) got his Little Touch LeapPad and would only play with it for a few minutes until we got this book. Now we can hardly tear him away from his LeapPad. He loved animals to begin with and was especially captivated by the real life photos.
