All skeptics should buy this toy! AMAZING November 17, 2008 I bought 2 sets of these for my 5 yo son. Little did I know that my 2 YO daughter would love them too. Not to mention I enjoy playing with these. They spark creativity and the possibilities of what you can build are endless. My only advice would be to buy the biggest set you can afford. The more pieces the better. This is an AWESOME toy. We have had them for about 6 months now and my kids will be getting more for Christmas this year.
A child occupier September 30, 2008 I bought this for my 4 yr. old G-son. It was an addition to a set of Mag-formers he already had. He loves it. We love watching how he gets better with it each time he plays with it. I would recommend this to anyone. He has used it since he was 3.
Magformers: a toy for all ages June 4, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We leave our magformers out in the living room where it is enjoyed by visitors from ages 2 to 70. Originally we purchased one set, but soon decided to get another because our friends, our adult children, and our grandkids enjoy it so much. The pieces are sturdy and safe for young kids. People enjoy manipulating them alone or in groups. It is a versatile and enjoyable toy.
Great for a classroom center May 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son received these as a Christmas gift and just LOVED THEM!! So much so, that I decided to purchase two sets and donate them to his Kindergarten class as a "center" for the children. The manufacturer includes pictures of possible things that can be created, which provide great problem solving opportunities. All the kids wrote me thank you letters and one kid told me that he is now getting to school early before that center "fills up". Great item for any parent or teacher!
magformers rock! March 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My daughter received a 50 piece set from QVC and there isn't a day she doesn't build something awsome with them and she's only 4. I'm constantly searching for new ones at a similar price, because QVC no longer carries them. Amazon has been my best option.
