Alex Super Rolling Art Center with Paper Roll - 43.75" Tall August 29, 2007 this is fantastic and so many uses to it. my 3yr old has so much fun, chalking, painting, drawing, and using the white board. great product especially with the wheels on it for easy move around........
Fun look May 25, 2007 If this easel had not been 50% off I would have gone with a smaller one. It was relatively easy to assemble; my husband did it in under an hour with a manual and electric screwdriver. DD loved and still loves to color on it. I love the roll of paper; I attached a binder clip to the top of the paper to keep DD from unrolling too much. The cups are great for holding crayons, markers, pens, etc. We have not used the chalk side, b/c as I rethought it, I don't want chalk dust in my house and no paint yet. It's large enough to give DD a big coloring space and when she first got it she would climb in the middle and sit on the top shelf. The shelves are sturdy as I have the bottom one loaded with paper, coloring books and more crayons. For one child a smaller easel would be more appropriate or even jut a table, but we have #2 on the way and it will be nice to have 2 sides for them. It's a cute easel and we'll roll it outside in the sunshine some days.
Very nice easel January 24, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We just got this in the mail, and it went together very well. Took a while to get one as we ordered it right before Christmas. I used their screws and my own screwdriver - the screwdriver that comes with it is small, so I can see where others may have had a problem. Didn't have any screws break, had one strip out, but that was my fault as I tightened it too far. Remember folks, you are dealing with soft wood here, so don't go crazy with your screwdriver. And DO NOT use a screw gun (power drill), you will defintely have problems.
My 3 year old is using it right now and loves it. So far has drawn a cat and a dog, and is going to have some trouble separating from it to go to bed. For the money, this is a winner.
Best art easel out there!!! January 11, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We purchased this for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas. This is a great art cart! I looked at many different kinds of art easels and decided on this one because of the storage. Although there is no magnetic dry erase board, it makes up for it in all other areas. The chalkboard is an actual chalkboard (not the kind that is tough to draw/erase on). The colors are great to go in a playroom and the cart is very sturdy...We don't have to worry about it folding in on itself. Very easy to move around too with the sturdy wheels. Couldn't be happier with our purchase!
Quality item, cheap screws... December 10, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The screws are a pain to screw in with the little screwdriver they provide, but when I tried a power drill, it stripped the screws in no time. So I went back to the manual screwdriver and two blisters later, I think it is a really quality easel, and the storage space is an excellent idea. Most easels just don't seem worth the space they take up. The wheels are a great idea to take it outside when the weather is nice...makes for easy transport. Overall, I am very satisfied with this item, but I agree with the other reviewer about the cheap screws.
