Great alternative to expensive wooden chalkboards! May 29, 2008

We purchased this item to use in a learning center for our toddler. He uses it fine and chalk writes on this product just like a regular chalkboard (maybe even better). The peel and stick works well and our son as not figured out how to peel it off the wall yet. You will need two packs to create the board design shown in the picture. We purchased 2 and it makes the perfect size chailboard. Hope you like this product as much as we do.

Great product! I also bought this product: Chalkboard Contact Paper, 18" x 6'. The Peel & Stick Chalkboard is thicker than the Contact Paper (thicker is better when it comes to chalkboards). It's also easier to remove and reapply, and the black is a nicer "chalkboard" black. But it is also significantly more expensive, and you'll probably want more than one pack to fill whatever area you're thinking of filling (the picture is misleading with respect to the size of the panels). You decide.
