Great looking bike November 23, 2008 This is solid looking bike with a great retro look. The bike has a very nice and my son enjoys a lot riding his trike. The assembly was a snap too. The bell on the handle is cheaply built though. Little bit of hard pressure on it and it came off. Otherwise just great.
We love this trike! November 21, 2008 We gave this trike to our youngest daughter this past July for her 3rd birthday. We cannot praise this trike enough. Assembly was a snap for my husband. It was a process that took under 20 minutes. The overall look of the trike is very retro. The only thing I would change about the trike it the wooden step on the back. Sadly, it can only support 5lbs of weight, or so it says in the owners manual. Back in the day, trikes like this could be used as scooters by standing on the rear step or you could tote along a friend on the back. So the bottom line with my only gripe about this trike is that the rear step is decorative. We purchased the pink version of this trike. The color is very bubble gum pink and it oozes girly appeal. My [...] is simply delighted with this trike. It does not tip over at all which was a problem we had encountered with our old trike. She loves the bell that's attached to the handlebars and delights in ringing it as the pedals up and down the street. The trike is heavy so it can be a little difficult to ride it up hill. The seat is easy to adjust and my picky princess says its very comfortable. If you are looking for a great trike that will gather some oohs and ahhs along the way then look no further.
nice trike November 17, 2008 My 17 month old enjoys sitting on it and is starting to get the hang of the pedals. He can scoot it along with his feet on the floor. However, I think for kids under 33" tall it is way too big. I think the box said from heights starting at 26". Even with the seat all the way forward and pedal blocks added to the pedals (sold separately) his feet barely reach the pedals.
Great Trike November 6, 2008 I bought this trike for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. It is a great looking trike and my grandson was very excited when he saw it. It is very well made and appears to be very sturdy. It is much larger than the Ready To Ride Radio Flyer trike he already had. The rear wheels are set pretty far apart (about 22 inches). That makes the trike more stable and less likely to tip over when making sharp turns of the wheel. Be aware that it is a better "outside" trike rather than for use in the house, because of the wide wheel span. There are smooth metal parts protruding from the center of the wheels and they can mar walls and furniture when riding through the house.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TRIKE!!!! November 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the cutest tricycle ever, not to mention sturdy and solid. My 2 year old is very petite and she just reached the pedals and smiles from ear to ear on this. Low to the ground which is perfect for beginners and she just loves the horn. Only complaint,,,, why don't they sell this bike in stores? Had to pay overnight shipping to get in time for bday- well worth it to see the smile on her face:o)
