For quick stops only. August 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I went through a cable like just like this one (it was a Kryptonite, actually) with a hacksaw in less than 60 seconds. It really surprised me how easy is was to defeat.

When decision was made to purchases another bike I immdediately thought to purchase a lock. I had to get another bike because someone decided to help themselves to my other bike that I left on my personal patio but because it was not locked up they were able to steal it. I now keep my bike locked up very tight and other than have to untangle the cord all the time I am at peace with leaving my bike unattended. I am going to look to see if Bell also has a keyed lock because if you forget the combination you can forget getting it unlocked and I am not about to have someone try and cut it off.
Not very secure. December 26, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Don't trust this lock to protect your bike in a public place. The cable is thin enough to be cut with wire cutters, and the locking mechanism wouldn't withstand a single blow with a hammer.
Bell EZ combination cable March 18, 2006 0 out of 18 found this review helpful
The lock device works simply and effectively.
Problem-The item was to be "Free" as per advertising on line.
It was billed to my AMEX charge account for $7.49 in error. Please credit account.
Thank you.
Very basic model. October 16, 2005 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Comes with pre-set code, you can not change it to any 4 digit code you want - although you can try to change the combination for example the code 5392 can be changed to 9253, 9325 etc but doing so you can easily break the inter-locking clip (due to its poor quality) and make the combination cable useless.
