Amazon.com Product Description Cruise around town in style with this unique scooter and bike combo from Kent. Constructed of sturdy steel, this scooter/bike pushes like a regular scooter, but offers 12-inch inflatable tires to roll over anything (unlike traditional inline skate wheels and many scooters that stop when you hit a rock). Additionally, real side pull brakes and brake levers--rather than a small lever--will ensure stopping power while cruising along. The bicycle component of this unique combo offers foldable pedals attached to the rear wheel to easily switch out from a scooter to a bike in no time. You can store this innovative riding machine almost anywhere as it folds down to 38 by 21 by 12 inches when folded. Toss it in the back of the car or RV for fun and easy transportation. Kids of all ages (and adults, too) will have fun riding this fun combo scooter/bike. The maximum rider weight is 200 pounds. Specifications: - Steel frame
- 12" inflatable tires
- Front and rear side pull brakes
- Folds to 38 by 21 by 12 inches
- 200-pound weight capacity

Awesome scooter bike! October 7, 2008 After reading all the reviews on this site I decided to take a chance on this scooter bike because of the low cost. I'm so glad I bought it! I am an adult, mother of two and I love riding this. I bought this because my six year old goes to school about a block away and I used to take her to school on a razor push scooter. After we almost fell (wheel got caught in a crack) I decided on a scooter with more stability. This scooter bike system is perfect because she can stand on the scooter part and I can peddle. I can get her to school and be back at home in 2 minutes flat!
The scooter bike is really sturdy and can hold over 200 pounds. My husband picks her up from school and he is about 210. Add my daughter to that (she is 45 pounds) and it still works great.
My husband was able to assemble it easily without using the manual. The brakes did take some time to adjust but once we did adjust it right, it worked perfectly. The only thing I would suggest is getting a new seat. I bought a Schwinn comfort seat from Walmart and it's so comfy to ride - I could be on it all day!
The peddles can get in the way if you scoot. They do fold in and lock into place. And I like the little kick stand that has so you don't have to lay it down.
All in all I really love this scooter bike. It has great features for a really reasonable price!
Good for excercise and sturdily built October 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I took up kick biking and kick scootering for exercise because I can no longer walk very far due to spinal stenosis. I'm 71, 6' and 245 #, and the this little kick scooter is holding me up just fine. I took off all the pedaling stuff including the crank since it was useless for me. I also have a "Willie" kickbike I use for daily longer rides. The Willie (a regular kickbick) is easier to use, has more carry through due the larger wheels and is somewhat easier to balance. But after some getting used too the Kent Kick Scooter is just fine, just takes a little more energy since you have to kick more often. Its very well built, sturdy and attractive - - gets many looks and comments and thumbs up from the kids as I go by. No problem to assemble. The rear brake is hard to adjust (too many short bends in the cable), the front one is fine. Most kick sccoters of this type (costing a couple hundred bucks or more) only have the front brake anyway. With all the pedal stuff off it is more lightweight and much easier to use. I also bought a better seat for it since I have rest often. I like the folding feature -- it fits anywhere and is easy to store. It is my bike of choice when we go RVing, the dog loves it!

Watch out, and here we come! September 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this to help me give my small dog a more vigorous late-evening walk. I'm very happy with the bike, but it rides much differently than a regular bike. Therefore, make a point to be extra careful, especially at first. Stay away from traffic and people when possible. Note: I'm a 200 pound (plus) guy, so I've maxed out the suggested weight ceiling. Still, we're having a ball, while turning a lot of heads and getting enthusiastic feedback from onlookers we pass by.
I was, though, very disappointed with the VERY inferior packing of the bike/scooter and its parts. The box had even spilt open and some small parts were lost. I ended up paying an extra $35 bucks to have the local bicycle shop figure things out and assemble it,replacing the missing "gadgets," accordingly. Still and all, however, counting for the initial Very Low price, I'm happy! Now, it's, "Watch out for that tree!"
NOT WHAT EXPECTED August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I brought this scooter thinkin it was gonna be new..i bet it was new but why did i bother paying shipping when they shipped it terribly most of the paint got scratched of and the words, it mostly upset my mom she even got upset at me for buying it when they did such a terrible job with it and thats not it most of the nails<- or whatever where missing thankfully ma bother in law was able to find some that fit the bike and screwed them on. putting the scooter together was pretty easy but the brakes suck ballz! they was ma bad so ma brother in law had to tighten them. the scooter is really heavy i mean i searched this up and saw something like 30 pounds and figured it wasnt bad but i mean its bad for a scooter....and the peddles stink but whatever i dont use them much anyways. even though most the things i just wrote where negative i wouldnt return the scooter for the world i have lots of fun riding it even with its flaws.. oh by the way im 13 and 5'4 .. and this bike i think should be used by teenager not 8 year olds cuz i mean its not tiny.. its kinda big.. so yea and u can kinda fit like another person on it well i do that cuz me and ma friends are crazy and do crazy things so yea..
okay, but pedals hit my legs August 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is okay, but I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had tried it out first in a store. The pedals hit my legs - ouch - it is better to remove them. As a scooter, it is great, a good workout. I use it to keep up with my son as he rolls around the neighborhood on his bike, scooter, heelys, etc. The bike is something that I use only for very short spurts as it was not designed for a long ride. I am 5' 8" which I feel it a tad too tall for this scooter bike.
