Disney My Baby Princess Cinderella Crawl and Feed Doll is perfect for little girls who delight in nurturing role playing. View larger. | A Baby Doll Who Really Crawls Baby Cinderella is based on the main character from the self-titled Disney movie. Any little girl who loves baby dolls or who is enthralled with the Disney Princesses will be delighted with this sweet baby doll. She comes dressed in a satiny, blue-colored baby onesie that is removable. Her "real" hair is styled with perky pigtails, and her large, cartoonish eyes give the baby an adorable expression. A lightweight plastic body and posable limbs make her durable and fun to play with. But she's not just a pretty face: this doll can actually crawl! Just call her name or clap, and the doll will begin crawling at a steady little pace. She crawls equally well on carpeted or smooth surfaces, giggling delightfully as she goes. Baby Cinderella also comes with her own pull toy, a small, blue coach just like the one from the movie. Attach the toy's ribbon to the baby's hand, and it will roll along with her while she crawls. Baby Needs Nurturing Baby Cinderella needs quiet time and nurturing, too. Press the included toy bottle to the doll's mouth, and she'll make real drinking sounds. Your little caregiver will love placing Cinderella in a sitting position and "feeding" her a bottle. Baby Doll Offers Range of Opportunities for Imagination Baby Cinderella offers little girls a fun opportunity for pretend play. Our two-year-old toy tester, who is especially enamored with baby dolls, was immediately drawn to the sweet-looking doll. And while she enjoyed making the doll crawl around, she also enjoyed undressing and dressing her, cradling her, and pretending to bathe her and feed her. In other words, yes, the doll's crawling feature is definitely fun, but you don't need to worry about this doll being a "one-trick" pony, as she opens many possibilities for imaginative play. We faced one minor problem: The toy's instructions indicate that the doll will start crawling if you call her name or clap, but really, any somewhat loud noise will get her moving. While this makes her really easy to play with, it also is a little bit frustrating: she'll try to crawl even if she's in a sitting position or if the child is trying to pretend that she's sleeping. There's a quick and easy solution: simply move the switch on her back to the "off" position when your child doesn't want her to crawl. Baby Cinderella comes with 3 AA batteries. You'll need a Philips screwdriver to replace them. What's in the Box Baby Cinderella doll with 3 AA batteries, baby bottle, pull toy.

Limited entertainment January 6, 2009 Cute doll. Never could get her to make the bottle drinking sounds. She makes more noises in the demo mode. She isn't much good for anything other than crawling. I was terribly disappointed in sight of the money ($[...]) and my 4 year old loved her for 2 days until the novelty wore off. What a bummer. We had high hopes.
Cute, BUT.. !!! December 30, 2008 The doll was actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It is overall cute and the idea of it crawling around is fun, until it starts crawling for every little sound made in the house and you have to turn it off to make it stop. The motor on this doll seems to be very loud and noticeable. The batteries went dead after having it one day. Luckily for me, I didn't pay full price for it because it would be returned. My daughter really doesn't show a lot of interest in it. I guess the only good thing I can say about this doll is that it is cute!
Okay, but could be better October 21, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The doll responds to verbal sounds well (crawls when you say her name). Feeding is very difficult. You have a press on the dolls face really hard to get the "slurping" sounds. The bottle doesn't even come close to being able to activate the feeding sounds. My daughter can't do it at all. My daughter (age 3) and nephew (age 4) like to make the doll crawl about. THe dolls laughs a lot, and the yawn sound is cute. She makes the crawling movements even is sitting position (which makes for a very wigglely doll). They really need to work on the feeding aspect, maybe have the bottle be magnetic to trigger sounds rather than pushing the face in. Also, on the box it is misleading showing a picture of cinderella slurping on a bottle with "mmmm,,mmmm" in quotes like she says yum yum sounds. She does not, it is bad "slurp" sounds if you can make it work.
