The Beauty of a true "Little Girl" Doll is Fantastic- October 13, 2008
I bought ALL 3 of these "friends"- Zoe, Olivia, and Sofie! Olivia and Sofie were for two real little girls who are the daughters of a dear friend and co-worker. The third, I couldn't resist,Sophie, is mine. I have seen Deb's girls play with other dolls many times, but always with overly sexualized Barbies and Brats-- I hate that children only have "sexy" dolls to compare themselves to - it effects their choices in clothes, they get a distorted view of what is beautiful, and attractive about women from the way too obviously "sexy" dolls available. I just dislike the eyeliner, the rock star stuff, and "fashions" so much!
Little GIRLS should be LITTLE GIRLS!!
These dolls are durable, cute, each has a beautiful yarn hair style, and their clothing items are current, and appropriate for ANY well dressed little girl!!!... unlike many other dolls/doll choices.
These dolls are affordable, and really great quality for the price!
You may like to know that ALL three Play Club dolls are fully jointed at the wrist and ankle, as well as the hip, shoulder, and neck! I was totally surprised by the soft arms and legs because the firm stuffing also has some sort of wire for posing these cuties while the head and hands and feet are moulded and flocked.... they are just DARLING! Very huggable, and still able to stand up straight on their own, and then pose or dress them in precious ways!
There is a distinct odor from the plastic or flocking- (whatever)at first, that is not so strong when the doll has been out of the packaging for awhile. You will need to have a grown-up available to CAREFULLY cut the doll &/or her accesesories OUT of the packaging which is VERY SECURELY SEWN INTO the packaging-- I think items will be damaged if you try to just PULL or rip things out.
BEST OF ALL-- My two REAL little girl friends LOVED THE DOLLS.
I highly recommend them for price, durability, and design. Darling dolls.

I bought this doll along with a couple of the accessories packs when they were on sale through Amazon. They were a gift for my niece and it was a big hit! My daughter wanted to "trade" her new toys for the doll, so I'll be buying another this year for her.

I purchased several of these dolls last Christmas and was very pleased, as were my granddaughters that received them. They are super cute and a great size. They also have darling accessories.

I got this doll for one of my daughters for Christmas. I have 3 girls and wanted to get them all one of these super cute dolls but one of my daughters said she didn't like the dolls so I only bought one, Zoe, along with all three accessory packs. My daughter waited a few days before opening her doll(she wanted to save her as a collectible.) Once open she promptly fell in love! Her sisters now all want dolls and each has asked her for one of the cute "pets" that come along with the clothes. Each accessory pack comes with clothes, a pet, a book, and really cool activities that include supplies. These dolls are a great and inexpensive alternative to the American Girl or My Twin dolls selling for only $20 each instead of $100!

Fantastic! These are so much cuter in person than in a picture. Lot of outfits and accessories for these adorable dolls too. They are what a toy should be...powered by your childs imagination.
