Just Bad December 29, 2008 I do not normally write reviews, but this toy was such a killjoy I want to warn you: do not waste your time with it. The concept is great, and my daughter was so excited to "show my own movies," but the image cannot be brought into focus, and that was very disappointing to all of us. You can take it from very blurry to less blurry, but then the focus adjustment reaches its limit. We exchanged for a duplicate, which had the identical problem. To me, this was a good idea that they just didn't deliver on. They should have spent more $ on the parts, even if they had to charge us more. Bad job by the toymaker,
Jazwares=Junk December 28, 2008 Same exact issue as the previous reviewer. Follow the rather simple instructions, and it projects a very small image, nowhere near what it is supposed to. The only way to get it to project like the image on the box is to do it straight on, and at a distance. So, not only do you get the shadow, but because the projector is not all that powerful, the picture is very faint and distorted. I don't see how anyone could have ever gotten these to work, and shame on Jazwares for selling a product that obviously does not work as advertised.
Worst Toy Ever December 27, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This hunk of junk is extremely difficult to focus (haven't yet). Also, it doesn't really project. It comes with a little guide to show you how far to set the projector from the wall. The distance and position listed for 4x6 projection actually measures about 2x1 and stays blurry. I actually feel bad for my little girl when she is trying to watch and play with this thing. I'm going to get her something different. Absolutely Horrible. I'm embarassed taht I spent money on this thing.
