Great Quality, Good Full Size, Surprising Play Value March 13, 2008
I have several of these and my 4 year old loves them. They are very large and long (the pictures don't do them justice) and very good quality. She enjoys playing with them on the floor and then wrapping them up around her bedpost at night. Great toy!

The Wild Republic Timber Rattlesnake is a lavender and black banded plush toy serpent. This is an interesting, but odd color scheme, considering that real timber rattlesnakes' skin colors range from yellow to brown with dark bands, some have chevrons. Rarely are they all-black. However, I give this toy high marks because it is in a position to teach people of all ages about a beneficial animal that is threatened with extinction. As far as "cuteness" is concerned, it is a nice toy for children, and also for grownups who collect plush animals. (I used to manage a toy museum, and I am an advocate for rattlesnakes.)

The snakes were great! All the kids loved them as the name of their hockey team is the Rochester Rattlers, and their uniform colors are the purple and black. THEY WERE A TOTAL HIT! Thanks for your prompt shipment. Every snake was new, in perfect condition, and wrapped very carefully. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My seven year old has been fascinated with snakes, alligators, bugs and other creepy crawlies for a couple of years now. Her dearest wish for this Christmas was a stuffed snake but I had trouble finding one in the stores. (I guess it's not a real hot item!) I was thrilled to find this one on Amazon and the price was reasonable, too. She loves it to pieces and sleeps with him every night. If your child is looking for a stuffed snake, this is your guy. His tail even rattles!
