Fun for Mom too... January 6, 2009 My son is 2 1/2 and he likes this guitar. He likes the buttons, the strings and the light up "tuners" on the end. He is pretty rough on toys and this one has held up so far (two weeks), even the elastic strings. Mom likes it too because the songs are current and are fun for adults. The only small drawback is when it is on the loud setting and you go to turn it off it is impossible to turn it off silently.
Just plain fun! January 6, 2009 My grandson adored this item!! He played with it and danced all evening. He is 21 months old, and thought it was the best gift of all, over Fisher Price's Learn About Town and Farm, even. He played with the other toys, but kept going back to the guitar over and over. The drums were a bust all the way around.
small guitar-- big fun:) January 6, 2009 my son is three and into playing his "air guitar" when we sing in the car...so for xmas we got him this toy-- so he could actually play music. he loves it...and its easy to hold. even my 5 year old daughter asks to play. so, i think it was worth the $ (although kind of expensive, i thought) for all the fun it has brought.
Can Hardly Wait for Christmas November 22, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This toy is so much fun, the music is really rocking. I got it for my almost 2 year old for Christmas, he has played with it in the store a few times and really loved it. It plays 5 popular tunes plus they can strum along and the strings DO add extra notes in tune with the song playing. A previous reviewer didn't notice this and I didn't notice at first either but I have to admit I was playing with it when he was asleep. I'm really excited to give him this for Christmas.
Fun toy November 20, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a fun little toy. It has a real guitar shape and it does have little strings, though they don't do anything. The keys on the neck of the guitar play different songs, and there is a whammy bar that makes a bendy note sound. My 20 month old loves it, and I'm sure his older brother will too. Definitely worth $20.
