Excellent puzzle October 11, 2008

When i opened the box and saw this puzzle, i was so impressed with the quality and durability. The colors are vivid. the pieces are not tiny and thin, they are a good size and very thick, can take abuse. My step-grandson loved it. The best part, he can't destroy it, he is very hard on his toys, but this will hold up. I would buy Melissa and Doug products again and i would recommend this product to anyone. Excellent puzzle and great price.

These puzzles are super cute and durable. I bought it for my 3 year old who loves puzzles and can do the 24-piece ones, but he's not quite ready for the 48-piece.
Great locking pieces for little hands January 26, 2008
What I like about these puzzles is that the pieces don't keep falling apart like cardboard ones do so it keeps my son from getting frustrated. The pictures also have enough interesting things happening on each piece that it is not too difficult to find the neighboring pieces.

We have a couple other M&D puzzles with fewer, larger pieces. The 48 piece ones we got here are by nature of their smaller piece to thickness ratio, harder to take apart and fit together. I'm hoping it gets easier and we're able to sort of break it in.
We love M&D puzzles because they have kid-friendly artwork that is well-matched in piece size and the art's complexity.

I purchased this puzzle for my 4 year old daughter 1 year ago. She has put it together many times first with assistance then on her own. My 9 year old also has enjoyed putting it together as fast as she can. My 2 year old likes to help Mommy & sister, and I enjoy working on this puzzle with them. It's a very fun puzzle to put together.
The puzzle is very durable, keeping in mind that dogs may like to chew them (not durable for this use). Each piece has an identifying characteristic to it, which is helpful finding the right place for it. It's a great puzzle! We love Melissa & Doug products!
