If Your Child Likes Star Wars, They will like this Light Saber. January 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If your child is into Star Wars, they will like this Light Saber. It is good quaility, lights up and makes sounds. What more could they want?
Not what we expected January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't get me wrong, it is a fun toy. However, when reading the previous reviews I was expecting something different. The biggest disappointment is that the light saber will not lock close and does not have a hook to attach to ones belt or waistband. This means that you can't carry it around between battles. Also, from some of the descriptions I thought that the light saber would actually change colour. It does not. It just lights up but the light is very poor and is only really effective in a dark environment. The sound effects are great though.
Saber tooth tiger January 1, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This lightsaber is not a bad buy for those who can't afford the real thing. The pulsating diode sound is pretty good, and the profile of the saber matches that seen in the Episode 4 pretty well (but the technology used in Episode 1 beat it easily). However, the collasping saber levels make it look less than real when you engergize it or when you de-energize it. Sometimes the saber gets stuck in an embarrassing "half-up, half-down" position, which ruins the illusion that you are a real Jedi Knight. Otherwise it is a good value for the price. And children may also like it.
GREAT LIGHTSABER! April 30, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Darth Vader's electronic lightsaber is amazing, and I love it. Even though I do have the Episode II Darth Vader lightsaber this one is better and more durable. I have the other electronics but this one really rules. It has humming and light-up features and an extending blade. I REALLY THINK THAT DARTH VADER HAS THE BEST ELECTRONIC SABER THERE IS! But for pros and cons, it goes differently.
Cons:It might scratch if you hit it hard. Where are the batteries (on hilt)
Pros: Great lightsaber, only to duel with. TAKES SKILL
It has great features! I like it! This would be great for anybodys collection!
