Amazon.com Split pants, bad breath, and time travel are just part of the nonsense the animated sponge and his undersea buddies are up to in this installment of the popular Nickelodeon series. The cheerfully inept SpongeBob splits his pants while hoisting marshmallows in a weightlifting competition, to the amusement of the crowd. So if it's funny once, it must be funny five times, right? Next, Squidward gets trapped in the Krusty Krab freezer and time travels to a future of Spongetrons and back to a prehistoric SpongeBob and Patrick--not a pretty sight. There's also a cure for Sandy the squirrel's homesickness for Texas, underwater ghost stories when SpongeBob and Squidward work the night shift, and the sponge's aforementioned sea onion breath in this 10-episode compilation. Don't look for any double-entendres to amuse the parents here; this two-hour collection of goofing around is strictly for kids, ages 4 to 10. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Spongebob Fantastico! April 5, 2008 This is one of the gretest spongebob videos ever released on both DVD and VHS tape besides the season box sets.
The Episodes on here are "Bubble Stand" in which Sponge and Pat set up a road-side stand where they teach Squidward to blow bubbles, "Texas" in which Sandy gets homesick for Texas (where she comes from), "SB-129" in which Spongebob goes back in time 1,000 years and then forward in time about 1,000 years, "Something Smells" in which Spongebob makes a nasty-smelling sundae and when people start to run from him and his francid breath Spongebob thinks everybody thinks he's ugly, and "The Graveyard Shift" (my favorite episode on this disc), in which Spongebob and Squidward must work the night shift all night and live out a ghost story that Squidward thought was fake.
OVERALL: I suggest (BUY)ing (THIS)!
However, if you can, I would recommend that you pick up the season box sets (1, 2, 3, 4 vol. 1, 4 vol. 2, 5 vol. 1). unless you are a Spongebob nerd/ Spongebob DVD/VHS junkie and just long to have everything SB-related, then THIS UP AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!
Spongebob! February 24, 2008 Spongebob is an icon! Spongebob and Patrick, what a combination!! You cant go wrong with Spongebob!
What's not to love? September 13, 2007 We love spongebob, so we can't give it a bad review. But, I have to say this one doesn't have most of my favorites. My one favorite episode in this one is Something Smells. So many good lines in it. The others are good, but not the best.

Funny Episodes & Cool Extras April 6, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This SpongeBob DVD has great episodes (like always), but as a change - the Special Features are getting better! SpongeBob DVDs always have cool episodes, but sometimes lack of Special Features. I can't say these Special Features are the best because they're not, but they're really good and give you a background on SpongeBob. They're a good amount of extras for the DVD, and even though they could have added more, it's a good amount and are really enjoyable. The episodes are very well chosen and can be enjoyed by all ages! Here are the episodes this product includes and the grade I think they deserve.
1) Ripped Pants = A 2) SB-129 = A 3) Texas = A+ 4) The Graveyard Shift = A+ 5) Something Smells = A+ 6) Jellyfishing = A 7) Dying For Pie = A+ 8) Wormy = A 9) F.U.N. = A+ 10) Club SpongeBob = A+
Also, three of these episodes (episodes 1, 3, and 9) have great songs sang by SpongeBob, Sandy, and SpongeBob and Plankton. Buy this volume to add to your collection!
