Fun for the younger kids January 23, 2008 This product was for my older son, but it turns out the 8 yr. old liked it more, even though it was hard for him to maneuver. As stated in other reviews, the graphics are pretty bad - the older kids aren't going for it. One other thing - to get to another course, you first have to conquer the first course, which gets very boring. It would be more fun if you could use all the courses, whenever you wanted to. It is well made and even held my husband who is about 160 lbs.
Review of Skateboard Game January 17, 2008 This was a Christmas gift for my son. He seems to enjoy the game but sometimes becomes frustrated when he doesn't advance the levels as quickly as he would like but that is typical behavior for him. I do not regret the purchase and feel that I received like value for the amount paid.
Lots of Fun!!! Durable and works well on any tv. January 10, 2008 My son loves skateboarding, but I am terrified of him being injured. This toy is a safe alternative to the real thing and is lots and lots of fun! The graphics are great and the player can do lots of tricks to make points. Game simply plugs directly into any television set---no programming or extra cords---does require a few batteries. Skateboard is pretty durable--small adult can safely stand on the board w/out damaging the toy. Good buy if you have an avid skateboarder in the family. Girls love to play the game too!
Plug and Play Skateboarding... Wii substitute for 7 yr old August 28, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We ordered this toy for our 7yr old son who's recently become a skateboarding fanatic... he loves it. Once he figured out how to control the direction (he rides goofy) he began to really run around the courses. The graphics are ok for this age, but probably not enough for older kids. I'd recommend it as an "off the couch" video game that is fun for younger ones.

got this for my qreat-nephew for christmas and he loved it. with the cold and snow sometimes its not so easy to go play outside. this keeps him moving even when the temp gets to 22 below the with the wind chill factor
