Third, the Barbie Girl device acts as a "key" for girls who have a room on barbiegirls.com. Girls who have this device and who have physically connected them into one another's computer docking stations can become "best friends" and chat in "secret." It adds a more personal touch to the site experience and an extra layer of safety for parents. Mix a Music Video lets you choose one of five songs then add in an animated background, icon, and character to create a unique music video. My daughter LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEd the Barbie Girls MP3 Player that I gave to her for Christmas.She listens to it almost every day!But the dark side is that the bottom piece fell out and now we can't find it!But it was no big deal because that piece wasn't so important.
 Can't register/load product ... January 3, 2009
We haven't been able to register our product on the website, and thus Barbie is still sitting plugged in to the computer unplayed with. I have no idea how to load songs on it as that is a function of the software that wont load. Called customer service line and got a recorded message "we are experiencing and unusually high call volume. Please try again later". *click* Needless to say I have one disappointed little girl who's been borrowing her dad's ipod all week.
Good golly barbie girls January 1, 2009
This barbie girl player is great. Especially for beginners like me a busy mom of four. I bought two for my 6 and 8 year olds set them up christmas morning and we were rocking out in 15 minutes for both. It recharges right off my laptop... I bought a sansa shaker for my son and it has been a pain... We have gone through 4 batteries since christmas and i cant download cds. barbie girl you won my vote!!! My girls love the looks and I love how easy it is to use. thanks for mking it simple for me... I definitley recommend this product.
Great mp3 player for any young lady December 31, 2008
I found this and was really impressed with everything I got for 12.99. My 13 year old son quickly figured it out for my 6 year old and had more music loaded in no time. I also love how the battery recharges. My older kids go through tons of batteries because their mp3 players, which cost a lot more needless to say, don't recharge the batteries when hooked up to download more music. I would venture to say someone was really thinking of all angles when it came to this product. We also got some of the extra 'accessories' to go with it. It's just too cute and simple, yet really awesome for my 6 year old. Definitely a great product including several areas of technology too.

I purchased this for my 5 year old and it was very easy to install music on. The online site is a little neat but daughter doesn't really care to play on it much - she just likes the music player. It holds several songs and she loves that she can switch out the accessories on it. It like another Barbie doll or something. The only bad thing is that you have to start at the beginning each time you turn it on. It does skip songs but if you have older songs on it first you have to skip past all of those to get to the newer ones you want to listen to. Overall this is a really good item for the clearance price of $12.99. I gave $20 w/free deco packs and I think that was worth it.
