Trumpet November 24, 2008 This product is priced good for the quality. If you have a child that is rough with toys, this is not a good chose. My daughter is[...] and she really enjoys this toy.
Excellent toy instrument October 23, 2008 We bought this toy for our almost 3 year old son last Christmas, so nearly a year ago and it is still one of his favorite toys. He is hard on his toys, this one included and it has held up supremely well. The sound it makes is nothing like a trumpet and it took him a while to blow enough air into it to get more than one note out at a time, but he never gave up. He loves this toy. Now he plays "songs" and they all sound lovely and not annoyingly loud. He is nearly 4 now and we are getting him the matching Sax to go with the trumpet. I can tell you that this toy has been thown, banged, sat on, used as a bat and all. It has held up very well.
Trumpet October 11, 2008 We bought this trumpet for our 4 year old musical daughter. All ages seem to enjoy this toy. It sounds like a soft harmonica. Nice music for its 4 note limitations. The shiny silver plastic paint seems to be wearing a bit, (I hope it is not lead) but all in all, my kids play with it often. Santa will likely bring the clarinet and sax.
Great Gift for Kids! September 14, 2008 I bought this toy for my 3 yr old nephew. It was so easy to use and play music. I was surprised. He lugs it around the house, drops it everywhere, and bumps it on tables and walls. So far, it seems to hold up okay. It's definitely a great gift for a kid.
Good fun for the kids July 8, 2008 We bought this last year for my son (now 4). We were a little worried that it would turn out to be a headache machine, but it turned out that it has an ok sound to it for a toy. You can easily play a few tunes with the four notes that it has and it's fun even for adults to play around with it. It's taken a few hard spills at the hands of a toddler and it's held up remarkably well for a plastic toy. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to give a child the opportunity to play with music. It didn't get five stars because there could have been more notes. Not a big deal since it _is_ after all a toy.
