Product Description Catch Phrase! is the frenzied game of fast talking and fast passing. Get the word or phrase, and rattle off as many clues as you can until your team guesses it. Then pass the disk before it buzzes or the other team gets the point. Get verbal, get physical, just don't get caught with the buzzing disk! Includes disk player, game board, word/phrase disks, electronic randomized timer, 2 tokens and storage tray. For 4 or more players, ages 18 and up. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Made in USA.

replacemnt discs???? November 16, 2008 Does anyone have any idea if replacement disks are available and where you would purchase. My only complaint is if you play it for a while, the same questions come up.

catch phrase electronic vs. disks February 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So, I've played both the electronic and the disk version, and have been wanting to buy my own for a while. I've seen the e-version in stores everywhere, but its been hard to find the disk version in the brink and mortar's. In my opinion, the e-version is easier to read, and if you are traveling with a large group, its probably what you want. But the 'click' in the game on the disk version is much more satisfying to me, and with very little effort you can write up your own disks to put in it; so if you are taking it to a party, you can write up disks that would suit the occasion. (Think "inside jokes" among a group of friends, or as a party game for baby or bridal showers) This is also a plus if you play the game a lot, and believe me, its hard not to! I do not know if the e-version has a feature to let you add words, but even if it does, it would probably just throw though those words in randomly with all the preprogrammed words, so you'd have no control over when those phrases came up.
Hate it February 13, 2008 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered this game to get another game like the one I have. My oldest son took our game to college and I needed to replace it. The game we had is an electronic game. WE love it. The game I just received is not the same game. It came with cardboard discs with words on it. IT was like stepping back 20 yrs..... we are looking to replace the electronic game. I am returning the game for a full replacement. I am hoping to get my shipping returned since it was not presented as the game I thought it was.
