Bubble mower = no bubbles February 21, 2010 Robo (San Diego, CA) Okay all the fun in the bubble mower is the bubbles, hello?!
The bubbles like all the other reviews do NOT work. In fact if you even tip the mower a little they all spill out so do NOT try inside, almost ruined our hardwood because we didn't notice it was leaking. I have not tried the other solutions tried by other reviewers but my opinion is this: more research and development, why put a toy on the market that doesn't work?!?!? I would not buy it again because clearly Fisher Price has not done their due diligence.
so-so February 8, 2010 Emily K. Hoover (Milford, PA) I bought this for my 3 yr old nephew. He loved it when he opened it and insisted on opening it inside. It took a lot of tries to get the bubbles to work, and then they leaked out. He went through the bubble bottle in 5 minutes. Needless to say we had to take it away from him and clean it up. It will make a good summer toy and will be hit or miss with the bubbles. the toy itself is sturdy.
GET A DIFFERENT MOWER November 29, 2009 Jennifer J (Bel Air, MD USA) We got this mower for our son for his birthday and it's NEVER WORKED RIGHT. The bubbles have never come out right, it's almost like the wheels don't have enough traction to turn the bubble wheel. My kids still pretend to mow the lawn with it, but there are better mowers out there, like the Playskool Chompin' Mike the Mower with Bonus Zip the Trimmer which we got the next year and has worked even after being left out in the rain.
Bubble Mower November 13, 2009 Karen L. (Islip, NY) Kids and bubbles can you think of a better combination? My son had this a few years ago and I knew my nephew would have just as much fun with it - I was right, he loved it!
Fun toy but no bubbles November 3, 2009 DJ (Seattle, WA) My toddler loves to push this around but the bubbles don't work well. We just gave up on them because they make more of a mess that they're worth when he (frequently) tips it over. We could only get a few to come out at a time if that. I would recommend if you just want a little lawn mower toy and the bubbles aren't important to you. Everything else about it is well made.
