Fun game that the kids like March 31, 2010 D in MN (midwest) This is a fun game with 3 types of cards, the manual says to put them in piles but that is too much work, we just leave them in a big pile, kind of like go fish, and pick the appropriate card when needed. Less set up time means more fun time.
Nice game for the price, definitely for kids over 3 February 2, 2010 D. Friesen Though there are 4 different "categories" that you can land on, I would imagine not many 3 year olds can fully participate in the game. There is a rhyming category that is for the older age group. It will be awhile before our daughter can actually play, but for now she does like to play with the cards and game pieces and enjoys matching the upper and lower case letters. Good game for the price.
Different ages and levels can play January 24, 2010 Kristen D. Stannard (Holly Springs, Georgia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my two year old for Christmas. She is learning her letters and this game helps me know which ones she knows and which ones to work on. Her four year old brother can also play this game- at the same time. I just give him different deck of cards. They love to play together or just with mom. Great game and very encouraging to watch them learn.
The grandkids like it. January 23, 2010 CAamazonshopper The grandkids enjoy this very educational game. It makes learning fun for them. Trouble is, they keep waking me up to play it with them.
Disappointed Mommy January 13, 2010 Kandice Marks (Las Vegas, NV) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is great if your child is starting to read however it is absolutely not for 3 year olds. My son loves Super Why, so it is extremely disappointing that he can not play this game; the question were just to hard for him. He just turned 3 and knows the alphabet and he reconizes most letters and still could not answer most of the questions. This just is not a preschool game. I can not stress how disappointed I am. I expected more from PBS.
