Product Description This teapot over for magic pouring sounds, or presses the lid to hear a tea time tune. Set includes four cups, saucers and spoons, plus a creamer and sugar bowl with lid, and a tray for serving treats. It requires two replaceable button-cell alkaline batteries, which are included
Editorial Review Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. Everything fits onto a sturdy lavender tray with large handles and a built-in stand for the teapot. --Marcie Bovetz

Tea Party Every Night... September 29, 2008 I gave this to my daughter last Christmas, she is almost 3 now and loves it. She plays with it every night. She has a tea party with our golden retreiver just before bedtime. The only negative is that when the tea pitcher gets knocked over it plays a very annoying tune until you sit it upright. I'm not sure there is any auto-off feature.
It's very cute and sits on a little table in her room. Very colorful and sturdy. Keep your eyes open on price though, I've seen it on here from $[...] but only paid $[...] by waiting till the price dropped. Now I see it is back up to $[...] again.

Great little tea set September 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my 18 month old daughter to have as a surprise when we arrived in the US. (That way I didn't have to bring a lot of toys with me.) From the minute I unpacked it she was in love. She made tea for her Grandpa and played with this everyday. She loves the music and while it can be a bit monotonous it makes her happy and isn't too loud. I am not too bothered about the holes in the cups as I do not really want her sloshing water around the house and I do not want to encourage that. In looking at the holes I don't think that it would be a problem to fill them up with hot glue and that would solve that problem. Love this toy and at 10.99 you can't beat the quality!! What great value for money.
My daughters AND my nephews LOVE this toy!! September 13, 2008 My ten-year-old had one of these when she was little and played with it for years. Now that Grandma has it, my nephews play with it every time they visit. It is their favorite toy. I love that, because I am a mom who fully believes that toys are not "gender-related." Boys should learn about having tea and playing with dolls. They will someday be dads and may possibly, like my husband, spend a great deal of time working in England!! Now that I have two more little girls, I had to find one of these sets for them. They play with it constantly, and love learning to pour, serve, and mix. They are rough with it, but it stands the test. The ten-year-old tea set still is like new, so I know this one will last at least as long!!!!
Tea time! September 7, 2008 Great play for my 2 yr old. She loves it and loves serving us tea. She would pour tea in the cup, then add sugar and serve us on the tray. It also plays a musical sound when pouring tea.
