Disney Princess Enchanted Vanity November 11, 2008 My 4 yr old loves this piece. I do think it is a little over priced however we got it on sale. Bibbty, bobbity, boo your little princess will love this.
Fun for 6 year olds September 10, 2008 My 6 year old daughter loves this vanity. She has so much fun with it. The only problem is when her friends come over and try to pop open the lids with out using the wand. I'm afraid they are going to break it.
Buyer Beware August 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having read numerous reviews of this product, I knew problems existed which could affect the performance. I decided to buy it anyway, hoping that MAYBE I would be one of the lucky ones. I have to say I was angry and greatly disappointed in this product. The wires must have been pinched during the manufacturing process, or maybe it was the way the UPS delivery man threw it onto the porch, but either way it was a complete rip-off. When inserting the "crystal" to activate the sounds/display it just makes a "twirling" noise over and over and over and over again. And then it simply dies. No faces appear, no voices are heard. And to get the magic drawers to open I had to beat them to death with the wand just to pry them loose. Luckily my four year old niece was just happy to have a vanity where she could sit and pretend to put on her makeup. I am sad that Disney endorses such cheap craftmanship and would have returned the product if shipping hadn't cost an arm and a leg.
Disappointed July 7, 2008 My daughter was so ecstatic to get this vanity and it now sits dormant in our playroom. First, it was difficult to put together. We had the typicaly night before Christmas late night trying to get this assembled. Very poor design! We never did get the compartments to work well. Even the adults could not get it to work. All that and then the key was that makes it talk was lost...too bad.
FINALLY!!! March 10, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this vanity for my daughter who is 4 for Christmas. We did not open it prior to Christmas Day and as many others the princesses did not appear. I actually cried as I was so excited for her to have this toy. After months of trying different (and more expensive) batteries and switching every wire around today it worked!!! I bought the cheapest batteries I had come across and.....IT WORKED!!!! My daughter is absolutely thrilled and so am I!!!!!
