My 2-year-old daughter loves this toy January 14, 2008 We got this for our 2.5-year-old daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. There are some design flaws (like the cars don't quite fit through the side washers, and our ferry doesn't really float when a car is on it), but that hasn't slowed her down. She LOVES the sprayer for washing the cars and likes to park them in the net underneath.
A hit January 8, 2008 There are a lot of things that I don't like about this toy - BUT my son could care less. He loves it. It's so hard to find good bath toys. If it were tons of fun he would never want to get out of the bath and we would have a yelling match every night. So I'm happy with this toy. He uses his imagination with it, which helps him overcome the things I don't like about it.
Good but with problems September 29, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son loves cars so this was a fun toy. However, despite emptying the water out of the "carwash" after every bath, it still developed mold/mildew inside. we cleaned it once but it soon came back.
Suddenly bathtime is fun again! August 14, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
After reading some lackluster reviews, I went ahead and ordered this anyway, and am so happy with this toy! My wheels-loving 4 1/2 year old and his 18 month old little brother both just love this toy and now bathtime is a much looked-forward-to time of the day(!). My older son was a bit disapointed at first that none of the cars' wheels turn, but after I explained that if the cars had axles, they might rust, he quickly got over his disapointment with the excitement of adding soap suds to the sponge pads to wash the cars and then shower them off, then up and around to do it all over again! Unlike in other reviews, my son has no trouble with the shower head; once I explained he had to give it repeated little squeezes, not one big squeeze, and doesn't mind the tight fit of the cars through the pads, but of course he is older and able to understand explanations like these. My 18 month old loves to watch his older brother's skill with the showerhead, and even hands him cars to 'wash', while he pours with the firetruck and squirts with the green car. They both like the up-and-down-and-around track, I like how the cars all neatly store inside while it drips dry from our shower caddy. It's just amazing to have a toy that they can both enjoy and even share plus it stores well! How often does that happen?! Great toy!
Still fun after all these years June 12, 2007 My son received this toy as a present, when he was just 10 months old. He is now three-and-a-half and STILL LOVES playing with it! Yes, the cars were a little hard to get thru the "carwash", at first, but after constant play, the little sponges softened up and the cars squeeze thru, with little difficulty. The sprayer still works and the cars are holding up well, with little evidence of wear. This toy has made bathtime a pleasure for the past 2 years.
