Nice Toy May 21, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Rubik's Twist is a lot of fun. It's so simple that it doesn't seem like it, but it is. Making shapes, trying to migure out how something is done, or just fidgeting, it's a good toy.
Unfortunately, this is a cheap rendition of the Rubik's snake. The pieces are lightweight and that turns work on four snaps that feels like they will break. If they made this in a sturdy version i'd give it five stars.
The same Twist parents had 20 years ago May 21, 2007 and it's a great something-to-do toy. It feels a bit cheap though, no real weight to it, plastic is thin, but it seems to hold together decently. If you want a challenge try a 5x5 rubik's cube instead. I bought one for nostalgia's sake and it fulfilled that perfectly. Great office cube toy. I'll come back from a meeting and someone will have made a new shape
LOTS OF FUN May 12, 2007 It's fun and it's cool how it works. You can make things with it that you've never seen before. You can make swords, hats, donkeys, guns, snakes, and even a boat. Reviewer is 9-year-old boy. (Typed by reviewers mother)
Not as good as the older ones. May 6, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was very excited to get one of these, loving the ones I had as a kid. Unfortunately, the newer version is not as durable. On the first day I had it, my stepson accidentally popped one of the joints apart. It was possible to fix it (which involved prying the tops off the two affected segments, squeezing the joint mechanism back together with a pair of pliers, and then gluing the tops back on the segments. Very shortly, without even being careless or forcing it, the exact same thing happened at a different segment. I never had this problem with the older Rubik's Snakes. Skip this version and get an older one from a yard sale.
Fun desk toy. April 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very entertaining toy. I am an eighties child and this toy sure brought back memories. My seven year old daughter also found it interesting. This is a good toy to have around your desk and play around with when your bored at work(just dont let your boss see you). It evokes creativity and is very relaxing to play with.
