5 out of 5 stars Wonderful captivating toy!   November 11, 2008
I purchased the Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper for my granddaughter for her 1st birthday. She, along with her 5 yr. old brother and 3 year old sister, immediately began to play with it and it kept their attention (as well as her Mom's and Grandmother's), for well over an hour. There were many squeals of delight as we chased the balls and put them back into the popper. I would definitely recommend this toy for others.

4 out of 5 stars Good toy for the price   November 9, 2008

I think that this is a good toy for the money. You can find them for very decent prices, especially around the holidays. I think that it is best for a mobile child who can crawl or walk because then they have fun chasing down the balls that shoot out - sometimes the ball stay on they toy and cycle back through the chute, but sometimes they pop out and off of the toy. If your child isn't mobile, mom and dad will be chasing down the balls. My son enjoyed this toy the most between 12 and 18 months because that is when he learned to push the plunger down himself and would do it over and over again. My son loved that he could make it work all on his own. He also loved to grab the balls when they popped up, and put them back down through the chute.

It is a little bit loud, but we put painter's tape over the speaker and over a portion of the motor/fan opening and that seemed to help some. However, it still probably won't be something that you want your child to play with while your watching your favorite show.

And yes, as others have said, your child will put everything he/she can find down the chute. That's what kids do, though. They learn by seeing what will fit where, and I am sure that this toy is not the only one that falls prey to such curiosity. For the most part, I can just tip the toy over and whatever was put in slides right out.

5 out of 5 stars After 4 years, it's still one of the best toys!!!   November 6, 2008
I bought this toy in 2004 (is a little different than the newest model) for my baby and she LOVED it! We kept it and now it's as much of a hit with her little sister. Yes, the yellow piece can sometimes detach if it's intentionally pulled-off, but it's easily fixed and hasn't been an issue. I can honestly say that this toy has been the most played-with item in our household with both of our children. :)

5 out of 5 stars My son still loves this!!   November 6, 2008
My son got this for a xmas present last year when he was about 7 months old. At first he just loved to watch the balls pop around but he soon figured out how to do it himself...and he hasn't stopped! It's been almost a year of regular use and he still hasn't gotten tired of it. This is probably one of the toys that has gotten the most use.

5 out of 5 stars Great entertainer!   November 4, 2008
My kids, ages 10, 7 and 1 ALL LOVE this toy. It can entertain them like no other toy can!

Toy Outpost is just one of many great web sites in The Outpost Network
