This is contagious! June 18, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Just like most of the other reviews of this product, my 10-year-old absolutely loves it! He mastered it within minutes (he does snowboard which helped) and other neighbor kids and friends have since bought one also. Saved some money by buying it on Amazon rather than in stores. Have only had it several days, but I think this item is money well spent for the fun and excitment we've experienced so far.
Ripstik pretty fun June 9, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 10 year old nephew, and it's a little too difficult because it has 2 wheels rather than 4 like a skate board. He still loves it though. The product arrived in great condition - like new. I was very happy with it.
GREAT RIDE June 8, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Took about a week to master it... now nothing else compares. The kids in the neighborhood can't even keep their balance on it enough to stand and are amazed that my son can ride it at all. "Turns on a dime!" Like roller blades only better! The casters make the difference!

Bought it for my son he loves it! The quality is great and seems to be holding up well after daily use for a month.
Ripstick was roarin success June 6, 2007 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Got this board to reward my son for a great school year. Got it open and he had to hang on to my arm to stay on it- for the first 30 minutes. Then he worked with it for an hour or two- and now three days later he rides it like a pro! HE LOVES IT! Says it is the best gift he has gotten in the last few years. It is teaching him balance, how to control it thru body motion- and now he wants to learn how to ski board and wave board! This product is much better than the Wave- has a rubber layer over the center bar, is not as loose in the torque, and has a smooth ride. Note the ad copy says it comes with an How To DVD- it does not. Great gift- and within two days ALL of the kids in the neighborhood had ordered it from Amazon! We should get a commission!
