5 out of 5 stars Killer water gun   July 23, 2008
I bought this for my son after he was pummeled by several different friends at several different pools this summer with their water guns. He no longer fears them or their worthless little toys. This gun blows all the others away. He can shoot them from the side and they have no idea it's coming, he can blast them with rapid fire and several other ways just as the description promises with a four-way nozzle. He loves it. He and his friends are 6-7 years old.

I was trying to find a cheaper CPS version. This was the only one that fit the budget after days of researching. Its OK... It seems that the water guns are starting to suck. Try researching on water guns. Back in the days the power of the water guns was determined by how much air was pumped in it. Now the amount of air and most of the other water guns are limited. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. THERE ARE NO WELL MADE WATER GUNS ANYMORE

5 out of 5 stars Great gun for a great price!   June 26, 2008
So I was out looking for cheap waterguns that my girlfriend's little brother and I could have water gun fights. I bought this on Amazon when it was 11.50 and I was unsure how much I would like it. As it turns out this water gun is one of the best I have own because of it's specs and price! This thing can shoot from side to side and frontwards. It goes a nice distance and I really like how you don't have to pump it several times to spray the water. The water capasity is also very nice. It holds a good amount in there and it also has a quick fill cap. All you have to do is insert a water hose and it will fill up in a matter of seconds. I liked this thing so much that I had to buy another one for my girlfriend so she could play with us! Good gun for a great price!

I bought two of these Super Soakers for my daughters (3 & 4 1/2) and they love them! The pump/squirt action is easy enough for both of them to master, and the 4 different spray choices are great fun, especially when I turn the tables on them. I really like how easy it is to refill the guns (you don't have to remove the cap), but the girls can't do it alone yet. My only concern is their durability ... I don't know if the guns will be able to handle the rough and tumble of preschoolers (ie, they throw it down a lot). But, for the price, I was very satisfied with my purchase!

5 out of 5 stars Great for hot summer days!   May 21, 2008

These are GREAT fun! Unlike the classic Super Soaker design, you do not need to pump the soaker before use; just fill with water, push the pump forward, and pull back to fire immediately! There are four selectable nozzles; fanspray, left stream, right stream, and forward stream. The left and right streams are great for sneak attacks, or you can use the soaker's body as a shield while firing out the side! The fanspray is great for shooting at close range, or just for creating a nice cool mist in the air.

The cap resembles a giant Schrader valve (as found on tires), and does not need to be removed to fill the tank. Just press it against a faucet to refill.

The nozzles are pretty wide bore, so they'll get your victim very wet. Beware, though, as you may be left out of water and defenseless should you get trigger happy!

I've also found that small ice cubes will fit into the tank. Use this technique at your own discretion.
