 BANG for the buck!!! October 31, 2008
I bought this toy as a back up to the micro mosquito, so that my daughter would have something to play with and not the more expensive/fragile micro mosquito. Well after I broke one of the very fragile rotors of my mosquito, I began to play with this toy that I thought would be rather crappy.
Well to my surprise this toy is awesome to play with! It takes a licken' and keeps on kicken'! The controls for this are rather responsive once you have attained a proper trim (which needs to be adjusted almost every flight.)
I found that instead of using the aluminum tape to help the nose pitch (your forward speed) I stick a pin on the nose and can add and subtract the weight as I desire (unlike the one time use aluminum tape.)
The only maintenance that this toy requires (aside form charging) is to clean out the rotor axles that love to pick up every stray strand of hair and cob web in your house.

I bought this for my son for Christmas last year and he did indeed love it, but it quickly broke with regular, expected ware. NOTICE: they sell a ton of little replacement parts which means that this little toy tends to fall apart and need them! Would not recommend if you are on a strict budget, because you will be disappointed!

The helicopter will fit in the palm of your hand. The main part of the body is made out of styrofoam, which makes it very light and durable(suprisingly so)! My husband mastered taking off and landing on his hand. The battery life is very short. Our 2 year old would request that Daddy play with it and the cat would have too [if he could]. Unfortuantely, both them them [child & cat] were the cause of "death" for our beloved toy. Very entertaining toy! I'm going to buy another one!

Toy broke after one week. The trim control wen't bad and it spun only in one direction. Co. has not replaced yet and its been 3 weeks.
 Don't order two from Amazon October 6, 2008
They don't let you specify a frequency. I ordered two and they sent us two which use the same frequency. So my son and I can't fly them at the same time. I called customer service after receiving the order and they said they will send a replacement that uses a different frequency.
I have to agree with other reviews, the heli is hard to control and even after adjusting the trim it can fly fine and then spin uncontrollably for no apparent reason. Still, my 8 year old has fun flying it around and it is still pretty fun and we are working on getting the hang of flying it.
