 Oh, the look on my daughter's face... December 28, 2008
Yeah, it was worth it. We gave this to our 18mo old daughter, and that smile was worth every penny. The handle/rocker is a great addition till she gets a clue about steering. No problems on the assembly, but a cordless screwdriver would certainly prevent wrist fatigue. One note: it looks like handle/rocker has a place on the back of the trike to lock into, but ours wouldn't lock. Pretty sure I put everything together correctly, but...'twas Christmas eve, and there was that bottle of wine... :-)
Good Buy December 28, 2008
I believe it is a good buy although my kid is still not interesting in riding. But he was really excited when I assembled this trike and now, he is asking me to stroll him inside my house again and again. I like its design and it is very easy to assemble. I did it within 30 mins without my husband's help. I think it is pretty sturdy. The only tiny drawback is the pedals for resting (not the ones for riding). They are not positioned well and my kid feels uncomfortable and therefore resists to rest his feet on them.

I sent this bike to my grandson for his birthday. His dad said he ran to it as soon as it came out of the box. His mom tells me he loves it and rides it all the time. The handle on the back allows him to drive his bike while his parents keep him out of trouble.
I highly recommend this to any little guy or girl who has lots of energy and wants to ride with the wind.

I bought this for our son's birthday, he just turned 2 years old. Although he can't pedal the trike yet (he can reach pedals but legs not long enough to actually pedal- he is 37 inches tall), he hops on and rocks for a while which is why I chose this trike- it's too cold here to be outside anyway. We;ve only had for a month and haven't taken it on the road yet, but it seems sturdy enough. My only complaint is that the handle keeps falling down, so I think we'll have to rig something to keep it up- but I don't think he'll need it very long anyway!
