We like! December 10, 2005 My 2 year old loves this! It is a great toy for taking long car rides. He received this as a gift last year but he did not actually start to play with it until recently. Mom and dad like it too because it keeps him occupied in the car, wherever our destination is, and at home. Nice toy!
Expectations not fulfilled November 6, 2005 21 out of 25 found this review helpful
I had high expectations for this toy to keep my daughter busy and happy in the car during our daily commute. This was not the right toy! The display screen is similar to the leapfrog drum (red dots in formation) It's a great idea (especially when driving at night) but half the time I can't even figure out with the picture is because it's moving too fast or it just doesn't make sense. In the music mode the song changes or starts over any time the steering wheel is moved. So you can't pretend to drive if you want to listen to the entire song. The alphabet and number mode is similar to the leapfrog drum as well, where it just says each number or letter as the wheel is turned. Nothing to exciting about that. I have noticed alot of the leapfrog toys that teach number or letters all do & sound the same, they're just sold in a different form (drum, ball, steering wheel,...etc). A little more variety might be nice. Maybe my expectations were too high but the toy went right back to the store!
