Annoying to parents....hours of fun for children!! September 1, 2003 Every child that I have ever seen play with this toy loves it....whether they are a boy or girl...or age 1-13!! On the other end of the spectrum every teenager thru adult that I have seen around this toy finds it quite annoying! Toddlers love it for its interactive features (lights and music) and older kids love it because they can make it roll forward and then back and it talks and makes lots of noise. I would definetly recommend it!!
Kids can't stop playing with it June 1, 2003 My son got this toy as a birthday present. Every boy (and some of the younger girls)that comes to our house, MUST play with this toy. Parents be forwarned, it is pretty loud and plays both rock and roll and a latin dance song. It also has loud engine noises and "peels out" all on its own. This perhaps explains its popularity with children. Keep it away from where adults are trying to carry on a conversation, but get it for your kids, they'll love it!
ouch...my ears March 31, 2003 My 20 month old son received this as a gift and LOVES it (so does his 3.5 year old sister). BUT....as the Mom who has to listen to this extremely LOUD toy...I'm not sure I'm so crazy about it. If it had a volume switch it would be perfect.

My 3 year old son absolutely loves this car! He plays with it all the time. He and his 5 year old sister love dancing to the music it plays. It's very durable also - he's a rough 3 year old and has run it into cabinets, chairs, etc. and it's still working fine.
SUCH a LOUD toy December 26, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We got this for my 18 month old this Christmas, and he loves it, but we were shocked at how LOUD the sounds are when you push the buttons - engines, horns, music - I was actually concerned it would harm his eardrums! There was no volume control at all. My husband finally unscrewed the bottom of the car and took the frame off - put cotton balls over the speaker - and then replaced the frame. It is much better now - muffled sounding - but better. Our son does love it, and now that it isn't so loud, I am less inclined to throw it out the window.
